How to make a crochet balloon sleeved top/ Beginner friendly

This tutorial explains how to make a balloon sleeved top with measurements inclusive. I mistakenly didnt record a certain part of the tutorial but i tried explaining it using a paper hope you understand it well.

Love, love, love this! I am working on it in a dark blush color. The only thing different I am doing is that I am using the star stich for the body. It really gives it a dressy look! And I am making the body just a little longer to cover my belly, lol ! Absolutely OBSESSED with the sleeves! Will post pics when finished. Thanks for the video...🥰

For a small size i used 8 small balls.

Help im having trouble with the body part you starr off with 16 inches and when i get the end its 21 to 22 is it supposed to be like this

I also used to have that challenge as a beginner. You are making an increase unknowingly while crocheting that part because it must have the same inches from the start to the end. Try crocheting while counting the stitches you have in each and every line.
