- Why Motorcycle Riding is the Best Hobby Ever: Join the Revolution!
In this video, we will discuss the importance of many hobbies. We will also see if you feel motorcycles are a hobby or a way of life? Riding is one of my greatest passions but I have a few others to discuss.

Only 7 months a year...Ouch! Have you ever thought that for some, the motorcycle is their hobby...Hobbies that we both love; Dancing, skating, cooking, diving, camping, hiking,, traveling, etc. Knitting, hmmm, that might be our next hobby.
You both have some great hobbies. Ride Safe
I do get tired of myself, then I realize I’m awesome. 😂 as always you are keeping real.
Thanks man! Ride Safe
Great topic Jack! I love my side sneaker hobby! Gotta have those fly kicks!
I should have added that to the video. Ride Safe
It's nice to see someone else still riding their "older" motorcycle! Mine is a 2019 Low Rider. Despite being asked by HD salesmen "are you ready to trade up" I have no desire or need to do so. My Low Rider, like your Ultra fulfills all my needs and more. Hobbies are important, especially when you retire. Good one Mr HDR.
Some people would say we ride classics. Ride Safe
@HarleyDayRider Absolutely Sir.
A friend and I were just talking about Ham Radios the other day. 😃
It’s a great hobby Ive been a Ham for 35 years. Just recently got back into the hobby. Ride Safe
LOL, I don't think I ever stop talking... so I don't mind hearing myself or seeing myself when editing... in fact, I think I'll just stick to views of myself in my videos, since I'm so handsome ;)
I guess Editing is a hobby I have. I spent 4 hours over the weekend just tinkering in Resolve.
I have other hobbies too - it's a good thing for when you can't ride, you're right! :D
Always nice to have something to do when we can't get out and ride. Ride Safe
I guess I could try to knit. 😂 Good vid and very true my friend about other hobbies.
Always good to have other outlets. Ride Safe
Nice job 👍🏼 I think people who have many hobbies live longer than those who have nothing to do when they get older. I made a rack to strap my golf clubs onto my bike and do both 😀
I feel the same way. Ride Safe
Good video brother and I’ve decided now that I’m gonna take up knitting
We will have something to do on our trip. Ride Safe
@@HarleyDayRider 😂
Great video Jack. As you know I do quite a bit of photography and when it became a job, I lost the drive. I do the motorcycle as you for a hobby. I think UA-cam becomes a burden at times. Be well my friend.
Doing UA-cam and riding you have to wonder there which hobby is more important. Ride for yourself and only yourself. Ride Safe
Most times when we ride...we could take the car...but it is WAY different on a motorcycle!! The scenery is just different when viewed from the bike...the smells...the temperature changes...and to clear our minds!! It's just different!...I won't include all the other hobbies!🤣👍...thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦
Great points and I agree with them all. Ride Safe
In my area, we’re lucky if we could ride 5 months of the year. Another hobby is good and that’s why I took up playing pickleball a lot lol.
I have never tried pickleball. We have seen it played before, but I have never tried it. Ride Safe
Hey, good to hear from you again, its been a moment. I guess I've been expecting this discussion for a bit now . . . "Find another hobby". The realities of slipping into our seventies have been bringing uncomfortable issues into my wife and my conversations lately. Her triple bypass last year has dampened her/our interests in riding as it has caused us to reconsider the discomforts as compared to the benefits. While I still feel "the call" to adventure, I've not had to really search out where I derive the pleasure/enjoyment when we're out on two or three wheels.
The draw to adventure is still strong within me, but for me "adventuring" seems meaningless when not shared with the most important person in my life. SO . . . where does that leave me/us? We've never been here before, so, do we "dumb (or numb) down" . . . or, DENY our individual passions? Or, do we focus on what our realities are, and seek out other ways to express or direct life's passions. Is "life" without passion really LIFE?!? Another GREAT vid, my Friend. I see you were just across the river from me, lol!
I am glad to hear you are both doing well. I was close to you. I would have stopped to say hello if I knew where you lived. We all need passion in our lives for sure. Thanks for watching Ron, and stay well, my friend. You should have my number call we can do lunch sometime. Ride Safe
I enjoy the days when I don't utter a single word. Even the ones, when I only say a few.
Those are great days indeed. Ride Safe
For some it’s not a hobby it’s a way of life
I can't agree more. Ride Safe
Let's get to it...............😒
Thanks! Ride Safe
Guess the movie: "You didn't weigh the hook did you Doc?"
Back to the future. Ride Safe
@@HarleyDayRider Nope, it was One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. (Said by Jack Nicholsen). Ride safe yourself also
