Porridge! That's what I'm getting! I'm blown away how much I'm enjoying this tea...lol teahead for sure now, actually...the Amber GABA Oolong and the Wildwood Black had me at hello!
@@tearush have you tried the Jungle Starlet?... I ask cause...idk if it was just my cake or what, but it had a fishy smell to it when it came in...I've left it in a not air tight container, broken down into chunks and left in the package paper, to try and dissipate the smell, to only a slight success so far, still a tinge...and honestly the taste is fine, getting the chocolate brownies with walnuts they speak of, and the salted butter on the mouth feel finish, and the fishy smell kinda goes away when drinking it, I suppose from the olfactories getting used to it, but ya, just curious to know if anyone else has had a similar experience.
@@tearush you're good, and really I'm not trying to knock Mei Leaf overall for it, I think it could have maybe been the hot shipping it probably underwent..but ya, just a noticeable difference between it and another Shu Puerh in "dragon balls" form(I mainly got them for being DRAGON BALLS! Just saiyan..Lol) I actually ordered from Seven Cups Fine Chinese Tea company out of Tucson, AZ. VERY good product btw, at least from my novice to true fine tea eyes, basically all the qualities I got out of the Jungle Starlet minus the fishy.. They also got some good Tai Ping Houkui as far as I know and tried....Monkey King, Dragon Balls...PUERH, OOLONG.... I may have a trend going....hahaha
I had the tea yesterday and a few times before that. It's a good tea and it's different than MeiLeaf's normal Anji Bai Cha, but I'm not sure if it's necessarily much better. So I would say, that for my palate it's not really worth the higher price.
No, Bai Jian is a white tea while this is a green tea, which can be confusing since "bai" means white. The name comes from how the leaves look before they're processed, but they do get processed as a green tea.
@@rawsunnata829 Unfortunately I do not have any specialized knowledge of health promoting properties. In general though it seems health properties from one type of tea would carry over to most other teas as they all come from the same plant.
How can you tell ? I'm not gonna argue...I'm just interested on how you got to that opinion!? :) Currently thinking alot about a good place to get Tea from and I thought they might be a good one ? :o
Iv'e only tried the regular Jade Arrow and the mouthfeel is incredible. Very thick, soft and velvety.
The 2020 Jade Arrow was the best green tea I've ever had from Mei Leaf.
300th Sub😎 I love learning new things about tea, mei leaf was where I got started! I want to find other great teas/sources as well!
Yay! Welcome aboard!

Is Bai Jian the same as Anji Bai ?

@@tearush What are the health benefits from Bai Jian tea?

What is this tea good for?
I love anji bai cha in the morning since they are soft and meadowy with a touch of sweetness, but potent enough to still help you wake up.
Yuh think that the undesirable “thing” just might have been a bud?
If I remember correctly, they were hard and woody and not a leaf. Possibly the end of a thick stem?
Hahaha. “Maileaf” and “real premium stuff” dosn’t really match.
How can you tell ?
I'm not gonna argue...I'm just interested on how you got to that opinion!? :)
