    You still got star quality, Rob! A video every once in a while would be great, but not if they keep you away from bench time😂 you're the best!

    Great video,looking forward to the next ones. The Farm & Fleet reference was awesome too,if they sold beer I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

    Rob, could you do a video on how to evaluate a used 1911? Also, on how to properly safety check a 1911 after doing a trigger job….

    It has to feel awesome to build your own custom gun and know its just as good if not better than anything else he could go buy.

    Great job Rob. I watched your take down video a couple years ago I think it's been now and have been doing it your way ever since.

    I’d like to see a video discussing magazines. Magazine options seem almost endless, and the feeding behavior of the round stack among brands, feed lips, and capacities is an extremely interesting but somewhat inaccessible subject for laymen like me. It seems like there is a lot to consider. Thank you!

    Very cool stuff. I want to know more, but I am ignorant of all things 1911. I don’t even know what questions to ask. I just want more videos!

    Extractor tuning would be great. Could you also talk about fitting and how to properly file to get the claw from touching the case bevel like seen on most production 1911s.

    Extractor tuning is a great topic. Also any recommended tools? I'm a bit skeptical of some. As a novice Bubba Smith, explaining it needs some tension or not is difficult to comprehend. Sorry i'm analytical....

      @@user-sc2ye2rj6g Bead blast blue. It comes off pretty smooth on camera.

      @@user-sc2ye2rj6g It feels like velvet too. Must be the over-obsessive prep work and the mega soft bead blast prep I put on it before it hits the tanks.

    Question. My 2017 Springfield Pro had a bushing that was finger tight. Why would they build it like that?

    • @RobSchauland1911
      @RobSchauland1911  День тому +1

      No idea. I have a Pro rail here getting a re-barrel that the bushing is super loose on. We remedied that with the super cool Bunker Arms Radial Bore bushing.
