In India, u can get claypots anywhere especially in summer. Check with your local nursery or look out for pots being sold on push carts.
Dont buy the glazed ones. Though shiny n beautiful, it wont cool the water as its pores are closed with the glaze.

Agar eyse hi chilled water milne lage to refregerator companies fail ho jayenge. Mujhe pata hai ki matke ka pani thanda hota hai but etna bhi nhi jaisa video mein dikhaya hai. Jo logon ko aadha thansa and aadha garam ya mix water peena pasand bai unke liye best hai matka, mix jitna thanda to ho hi jata hai.

I have been using claypot for last 1 whole year. The water comes nicely chilled even in summer but u have to keep the water in for at least 1 hour. Also, the fuller u keep the pot filled, more will the pores remain moist n chill the water further.
Not just natural cooling but even taste wise once you get used to pot water, water from plastic bottle will taste horrible. My son now refuses to drink water from a bottle saying it tasteless. Clay imparts a certain taste which is not noticeable but one gets used to it after a while.
I offer pot water or fridge water to all salesmen n courier men who come to my home. 90%opt for pot water n thank me for sharing it with them.
