Making an epic WORLD MAP resin table

- Turing the world map into flat world map table. For this project, I utilized my laser engraver to cut out an intricate world map, which serves as the centrepiece for this stunning coffee table with metal legs. I broke the map into six segments to make the cutting process manageable while still ensuring it's the perfect size for a resin table.
Throughout the process, I employed a range of fantastic tools, including my CNC, drum sander, and track saw. While this project can be tackled with minimal tools, having some larger ones certainly helps speed things up. Unfortunately, the table encountered a few issues, resulting in a slight loss of the cool effects in the bottom left corner. However, I finished it off with Rubio Monocoat to ensure long-lasting protection and enhance its beauty. I'm looking forward to creating more resin tables in the future!

Watched this unfold with my jaw dropped. Absolutely beautiful.
Epic. Noticing you had the forethought to include the Suez and Panama canals; well done.
Thank you so much 😀
Damn. I should have figured that you already had something like this in the works. Now you've outdone even yourself!
Thank you so much 😀
That’s absolutely amazing. So glad you even remembered to include my little part of the world in it as well. ❤

Absolutely amazing
Можно было на жертвенной доске так же лазером наметить расположение континентов и островов для точного позиционирования, а на ЧПУ станке вырезать крупные реки.
Very beautiful !! Good work sincerely !!!
Thank you very much!

Why am I getting deja vu from this video - I just checked your video playlist and can’t see it, could’ve sworn it was you I’d watched do this one before from the blue stain/dye you used - but yes love this table 💙
Thank you so much 😀 Yes it is a repurposed video. Could not get the new project edited to post
@@DavidsWoodturning thankyou, I kind of thought it was me imagining it - still stunning second time round

Stunning project mate looks wicked. Hows the masterclass coming?? Did you ever get my email?? Also whats the laser you run? Id like to get one for my business 🏴👍
Hi Michael, I am soo sorry for not getting back to you. Receive tons of messages and emails and they can get lost sadly. But will come back to you I know your email!
Beautiful. TBH, I liked the oceans better before you "highlighted" them
My guess for your place of birth is Ireland
nice, is it possible to know the make and model of the laser?
Thank you 🙂
Those was creality falcon 2 laser machine
You used a laser cutter to cut the continents out. Zero skill required. I expected the water to look much better but it was a mess. Anyone with a laser cutter and some time on their hands could make this garbage.
Where's yours? Cause if you haven't made one or have posted any of your work you need to delete your comment. You're just showing the world how outrageously incompetent you are.
Why so much anger??
That is a typical answer from someone who is extremely jealous cos others have time, skills and passion 😂 Get a grip man!
@@bettyswallox1240 Who said I was angry? Please don't assume just because you don't agree.
@@DavidsWoodturning I have all of those, I just don't find it necessary to post everything I do on the Internet for likes. As an artist, watching people pump shit out like this and calling it art is shameful. No jealousy here, man. You do you and congratulations on people paying you to make this garbage for them but I still see it as garbage that took zero skill to make. The Internet is crazy, if you don't want people's opinions then don't post your garbage or take it with a grain of salt. Not everyone who passes on your "work" is jealous of you. What an insane thing to say.
