  • Turing the world map into flat world map table. For this project, I utilized my laser engraver to cut out an intricate world map, which serves as the centrepiece for this stunning coffee table with metal legs. I broke the map into six segments to make the cutting process manageable while still ensuring it's the perfect size for a resin table.
Throughout the process, I employed a range of fantastic tools, including my CNC, drum sander, and track saw. While this project can be tackled with minimal tools, having some larger ones certainly helps speed things up. Unfortunately, the table encountered a few issues, resulting in a slight loss of the cool effects in the bottom left corner. However, I finished it off with Rubio Monocoat to ensure long-lasting protection and enhance its beauty. I'm looking forward to creating more resin tables in the future!

Можно было на жертвенной доске так же лазером наметить расположение континентов и островов для точного позиционирования, а на ЧПУ станке вырезать крупные реки.

You used a laser cutter to cut the continents out. Zero skill required. I expected the water to look much better but it was a mess. Anyone with a laser cutter and some time on their hands could make this garbage.

@@DavidsWoodturning I have all of those, I just don't find it necessary to post everything I do on the Internet for likes. As an artist, watching people pump shit out like this and calling it art is shameful. No jealousy here, man. You do you and congratulations on people paying you to make this garbage for them but I still see it as garbage that took zero skill to make. The Internet is crazy, if you don't want people's opinions then don't post your garbage or take it with a grain of salt. Not everyone who passes on your "work" is jealous of you. What an insane thing to say.
