Switching the OTTO NoizeBarrier TAC from Headband to Ops-Core Rails

In this video, Richard demonstrates one of the OTTO NoizeBarrier TAC headset's great design features - the ability for a user to convert from a headband to a helmet rail mount without tools. In this example the helmet has the Ops-Core rail system, and helmet-mount adaptors (sold separately).

Cant you remove the headband from the headset by pulling out the metal prongs of the headband like peltors?
