It is a lot to listen to but there are a handful of good nuggets of advice and great information. I do think this bit of information - though very short - is very important for any new archer that wants to get serious should know.
@@JustShootYourBow exactly, my brother sent me and told me to listen to this part specifically because I had been looking around trying to figure out what the process looked like. Because I want to start to actually compete. And this gave me a more direct understanding of what all of it meant to be "Pro"..... So yeah now I just gotta work on the skill set. Again keep up the good work man. Would love to see more of your Shooting content more often. And maybe I'll even win your Long Horn mini 😂 that would end dope!
Please correct me if i misunderstood, but what he was talking about seems more accurate to describe as "shooting or competing with the pros". "Going Pro" implies earning money by doing something, and that's how i always though of it. So anyone who can qualify for that division can call themselves a pro, but until they start making money from reaching the podium or getting sponsorships, they're just cosplaying as a one.
No need to correct you, I think you are right in your observation. Qualifying for most Pro divisions is simply a larger fee. Shooting WITH the Pros is very different than shooting LIKE a Pro.
Pretty certain he did turn pro and has shot pro for several years. I can say, with confidence, he still shoots pro. Literally the footage you see is of him at the 2017 Vegas shoot-off.
