Coiba Dive!! Panama winter season 2022-2023

Oups! A long one! I guess the diving season was pretty awesome!!
In this video, you will see loads of fishes and different sharks! And some fantastic footage of the giant one, the Whale shark!!
Coiba is situated on the Pacific ocean, so not much corals but loaded with fish life! Ive been using my old Olympus TG4, so not the best quality. Just got myself a go pro 11 so I hope next season ill get some more amazing shots!!
Like all my other movies, I do this for fun and to share with friends and family, nothing professional here!!

I've never thought of Panama as a dive destination but your video shows some really good diving! I'd only be able to go early March. How would you rate the diving at that time of the year?

@johnklei6582 Coiba diving is amazing all year round! unfortunately in March the water is colder compared to dec or January and visibility drops due to cold water current but it also bring more stingrays, and hammerhead around april!!

Who did you book the dives with? Can you get out to see Mantas etc. just from staying at Santa Catalina?

Hi! With Scuba Coiba, the best dive shop in santa catalina! you need to go to the coiba Islands to see mantas, 1 hr boat from santa catalina... there is no diving in santa catalina... you stay in a hotel in town and do day trips to coiba! or we do have multi-day diving also!!
