Solid review. I love mine, and play it tons. I did the monitor upgrade, coin door light kit, and colored screw hole covers. Looks great now. My track ball is starting to rattle pretty bad, so I’d love to drop in a genuine Happ, but otherwise it’s pretty perfect now.
Great review man! Thanks you so much for pointing out how big this cab really is and that it looks and feels very close to a “real” arcade. This cab represents a critical Turing point for 1up in that with this they have transitioned and shown they can make very near full size cabs for a somewhat affordable price. Unfortunately I don’t think this beauty sold well because of the exaggerated community reaction to the supposed terrible monitor. I have never had a problem with my gt xl monitor standing or sitting. It’s too bad people are not getting this for what I see as largely a non issue. Is great as this cab is I agree that it is not worth 700. If the track ball was higher quality (the one they have is pretty good but not great) and the wood was thicker and heavier then this would be worth 700 all day. Those are really my only 2 gripes. Also, Shaq jam doesn’t have the coin door and the speaker grills pro because they had to pay Shaq a bunch of money to use his brand. Ridiculous. Had they not collaborated with him and used the original artwork I would have bought it. Thanks!
I completely agree this was sabotaged from the beginning I think it’s a great cabinet and look forward to what is to come from Arcade 1up. Thank you for watching

Hi DLW they fixed this a while back the track ball works perfect. There was an issue with some of the earlier firmware updates and it took a few weeks to get resolved. Great cabinet, Best Buy had some in store deals $489 to watch for. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the info. How is the monitor when sitting on a stool? Some other reviewers are saying its really bad while sitting but seems yours is not as bad?
As long as you are right in front center of monitor or off to the left it looks good. If your on a low stool where you look up at monitor it will ghost out on you. Thank you for watching

For another 2k I could of had a real one (which I'll probably get this summer) used obviously. If I would have known the the ball was 4 pixels, I would have passed on it. I play it a lot but 750.00 bucks for a picture like that is horrible. I'm more than twice that age BTW.
I just picked it up for $349 delivered. Can't wait for it to get here!
