I think it's because Elphelt really wants to get married and ABA is scared Elphelt will try to take Paracelsus
She's afraid of her taking him away from herself. Even called her a harlot, Para said he would have chosen her if it was the past, her energy and vibrance was blooming. A.B.A took that the wrong way and thought he would leave her, though he never stated that he would. Eventually all 3 of them do get on good terms, all of the relationships. Tldr: She gets very paranoid lol

From what I understand it's initially mostly the fact that Elphelt is so loud and energetic that her presence alone overwhelms and scares ABA.
It's a fairly common trope in anime that these kinda gloomy type characters have somewhat of an alergic reaction to upbeat characters. It's basically a "cats and dogs don't get along" kinda deal

Nah. I like it. It feels like it represents English Dubs in anime where the lips aren’t synched up to the English voices.
I think that's on purpose, not everything it meant to be synched perfectly
