I can't thank you enough for sharing your headache story. I have had the same headaches as you (except for me it's on my right side) since March 2020. And I haven't had a pain free day since then. I have been doing the same as you with the Advil and I always carry Advil with me where ever I go. I have seen 3 different doctors who have all sent me to the same places as you and had the same suggestions as you were given. NOBODY seems to know what my headaches are. My current primary doctor has referred me to another neurologist for diagnoses and treatment plan moving forward. Like you, my life has been hell since March 2020 and I am desperate to have just one pain free day at least. I have been researching myself and only today I came across HEMICRANIA CONTINUA and that led me to watching your video. My appointment with the neurologist isn't for another 2 weeks, but I am going armed with the info I have on HC as I am convinced it's what I have. So, thank you so much for sharing your story. It has given me hope and I can now see a light at the end of the tunnel.

How are you now? I was hit in the right side of my head in March, 2019! And right after the hit, I immediately developed a headache! I haven't had a pain free day since then! There are so many types of headaches! To be honest, I'm confused if it's really a concussion or hemicrania continua! Like you, my life has been hell since March, 2019! I'm desperate to be healed! 😔👎🏻

Wow me too, my pain started in 2018 on the rightside, my cheek would swell up, aswell as having pain within my eye and the top right side of my head.
My doctor sent me to the neurology team because they thought I had trigeminal neuralgia but the neurologist said im suffer from hemicrania continua.
I've been prescribe the same medication as mentioned in this video.
      Hopefully it works.

Meditation using Brain Evolution System resolved my hemicrania to like 10% severity. It no longer affects me now. Consult your doctor before starting the system to make sure you can use the program. In my case it was caused by prolonged exposure to stress. When you are exposed to stress, the stress will manifest in human bodies in different ways. some get depression, some get chronic headaches and others anxiety depending on several factors that provide sufficient conditions for those conditions like genetics, deficiencies and etc. But if we take the stress away from our body the systems of the conditions will stop manifesting or getting triggered easily. When stressed the body triggers is it in a chronic manner.

Going down this same rabbit hole. Had a headache stop me in my tracks in December of 2019 that lasted months but still continues today. I've seen several neurologist, my regular dr, pain specialist, had several MRIs, trigger point injections, nerve blocks and nothing has helped. Its always on my right side usually radiates from my neck and wraps around to behind my eye with redness and watering in the eye. I seriously cant rember a pain free day in the past 2.5 years. I found the term hemicrania continua in another video and wholly crap this sounds like exactly what i have! Calling my dr tomorrow to see about trying Indomethacin. Wish me luck 🤞🏻

Hi. Thanks for sharing your story, I have been struggling with right eye pain radiating to my ear and head. I went to 2 Opthalmologist, 1 eyelid specialist ang an ENT doctor but found nothing wrong. I decided to go to a neurologist and I was fiagnosed today with Paroxysmal Hemicrania but to be sure it is PH, I will be starting to take Indomethacin. My eyelid droops too when it is attacking. Usually attacks before I sleep and like you, I prefer to be upright that laying down. After two hours it goes away.. I noticed I will have it for a month then for long time will be gone then will attack again. Hopefully indomethacin will work for me too. 🙏

I also did MRI of the eye and Brain last 2022 and they found nothing. Everything normal. I just learned to deal with it, but last March 2024, it came back and attacks every other day. There were nights I want to go to ER. 😔

I took Indo for about 6 years until it started affecting my kidneys. I also have polycystic kidney disease. Over the last 30 years that I’ve been diagnosed with HC I’ve tried everything. The pain is 24/7

I had a headache pop up over my right eyebrow. Hurt like hell. Eventually my eyebrow dropped and I thought uh oh. I went to my primary. She felt it was possibly cluster headaches but checked with neurologist and he suggested a CT angiogram and that it was likely HC. But wants to rule out clots/bleeds. I fit every symptom of HC. Never heard of it before. I read somewhere that only 120 people were DX at one point. So I guess you and I make 122? I can’t take the proper medication due to my stomach so gabapentin is kind of working but really I responded better to Advil/Tylenol combo but doc squashed that combo. Thanks for sharing!!
