True ! Saw him in Frankfurt Germany in 1985 on the Born in the USA Tour》4 Hours with a 30 minutes break..He said》Alright Frankfurt we gonna take a short break and then we gonna rock you all night long..See you in a little while..He started playin around 6 in the evening until 8-30 and came back at 21 and played until 23:30..WOW🔝🔝🔝🔝
Same here and Born to Run. My ex-husband and I used to play this over and over at our parties. We threw some kick-ass parties. Thanks for the good times Joe. Hope you're doing good! No hard feelings. 😂
I’m 61 when I was maybe 11 or 12 my brothers were going to a concert at a small movie theater in Milwaukee Wisconsin it was probably 1972 or 73 to see a guy no one heard of it was Bruce Springsteen
I was kinda shocked to find this video. I was at this concert in '84. My friend and I drove the 90 miles from Buffalo NY to Toronto to see the show. As we heading up, I never dreamed I was about to experience the greatest Rock and Roll show I would ever see. But on the way home I knew it in my soul, and have ever since. Bruce and the E Street band in our hearts forever.
I have ALWAYS noticed how amped up this concert was...then i thought....1984....get the drift? I am sure it was snowing all year long back then...sniff sniff
"Tearing up the highway like a big ol dinosaur" yes we did listening to this awesome band. Thanks for the fond memories of a time that will forever be locked in my heart!
I was there! Great seats..on the floor about 20 rows back...the energy was palpable and indescribable...To this day it has been the best concert I've ever seen (and I saw his return visit on 2nd sweep of North America the next year)!!! Had a wonderful time...you'd wish you were there!!!! Sheilalady
Saw him in 1984. I was not a big Springsteen fan at the time. They played fr 8pm until midnight with a short intermission. One of the best concerts I've seen!
how much enegry is contained in this one song ....... brings back memories of wembley 1985 ...... the crowd rocked and rolled and my feet never touched the ground for 5 mins!!! fantastic upload.
As I recall he played three nights at the CNE - Tuesday/Wednesday & Friday. August - hot and muggy, saw all three shows. Introduced by then GF (now my wife) to him on the Friday and she was literally exhausted after seeing him perform. Two sets. Then an amazing encore that included the infamous Detroit Medley. Miss Clarence…
@@Yoursistersazz From the song. Realize that the inspiration for this song was a guy who took 7 late '50s Cadillacs out in the Texas plains and buried them half way in the ground with the tail fins sticking out. And then: "Hey little girlie in the blue jeans so tight Drivin' alone through the Wisconsin night You're my last love, baby you're my last chance Don't let 'em take me to the Cadillac ranch, Whoah!"
This run to Toronto and Montreal was a test run for the international shows that was to follow. Unfortunately the CNE venue where this was along with hundreds of other awsome shows is no more.
My first Springsteen concert and probably my favorite. Every song had an intro. Half way through the set, kicks the band off to take a break and does a few acoustical songs and brings the band back and just keeps going.
THIS PERFORMANCE IS MUSICAL GODLY MAGIC. YOU PEOPLE WATCHING THIS KNOW THAT. JUST LOOK AT THE E STREET BAND ROCK. Hes quoted as saying in an interview, he always tried to imitate chuck berry in his performances. Two Ultimate warriors of ROCK. RIGHT THERE. PURE AND SIMPLE. Revelation 16:13-14 is precedent
Does it get any better than this?! Because if it does you have found something that is incredibly valuable and should never let go of! If it does get better than this I want to experience it! 😀
I’m from Wisconsin and I owned a Cadillac! I smile every time I see this video. And I’m only 8 days older than Bruce Springsteen ❤
1:16 Always loved that little "Yell" he did before the band kicked in in those 1980s concerts.
I never understood what everyone was raving about between about 1979 and 1983. Then, I went to my first Bruce Springsteen gig.....
Oh Madeleine, we all know.....
He played every song like it was an encore. People I know who saw him in the 80s said his shows used to run up to 4 hours too. Amazing energy.
I saw him in 1988 Torino (Italy) 4,30 Hours running like hell!!!!
I saw him in the 70's
Philadelphia ...he played 4 hours ..I believe a record
Philly 1984 3½ hrs. Incredible

I will drive a Cadillac through the Wisconsin summer night with my baby. I have to work a bit longer to buy one, but I will. 1954-1959. I will.
This is actually one of my favorite Bruce Springsteen songs.
Absolutely agree
Certainly one of his most fun songs
Upbeat, driving, high stepping with a great sax solo. What's not to like?
A legitimate opinion

Bruce and the E Street band in our hearts forever.
I was there. Can't believe it was 32 years ago
that luck had. Best of bruce is the next concert
Sgt pepper taught the band to play
Yes me too, went both nights
I can't believe it was 38 years ago!
But I'm forever young when I listen to one of Bruce's hard rocking songs.
The fun they are having, just explodes off the stage!
I have ALWAYS noticed how amped up this concert was...then i thought....1984....get the drift? I am sure it was snowing all year long back then...sniff sniff
I had my first concert on Springsteens Tunnel of Love Tour in Germany. What an energy over about 3 hours.... lost my voice for days...

I wish I was old enough
What would I do without this man's music in my life the last 40 years...no words...
Saw him in 1984. I was not a big Springsteen fan at the time. They played fr 8pm until midnight with a short intermission. One of the best concerts I've seen!
Bruce is a force of nature and an American Treasure....
Bruce rocks HARD
no hangover can touch you as you listen to this.
5 rows up in the Grandstand! My favourite show ever!
I discovered "The Boss" at 1981, I was a teen. I'm now almost 50...

The Boss still shows as much energy now as back then 👍
Magnifique Ceci Savait pas qu'ils étaient Venus Chanter Par Chez Nous Au Canada mais Nous ont Est Au Royaume du Québec City 😁
🎼💙🎼
Just fucking mindblowing.
They had this song on BBC 2 in the early 80’s in the UK, got the 75-85 box set, never looked back!
Love this man he is incredible!!!
Dusty Doll
EPIC! love from Canada right here, saw him in Vancouver in November'12.....this guy does NOT slow down! LOL!
One of my preferred...I see him in Milan in 85.....what a concert!!!
This song is way smarter and WAY darker than most people think. The caddy that the working man generally gets...is a hearse.
Not sure where you got this from

Bruce was the Man back then, burning like a torch
Clarence too!
KnoxTN Yankee he still is the man
He and his band will always be legends.
Best live version!!!!!!!
Was just reminded of this concert I was at from a friend, it was awesome!
he played four and a half hours best concert I ever seen. I seen a lot. Unbelievable
This run to Toronto and Montreal was a test run for the international shows that was to follow. Unfortunately the CNE venue where this was along with hundreds of other awsome shows is no more.
Now I know how Bruce Springsteen stays in shape. He burns all those calories running around on stage. Love this song!!!!!
Fantastic Clarence Clemons!! The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
great song, one of my favourites in the 80s
The Boss ❤
Saw the second show of the tour in St. Paul,MN The one after he shot Dancing in the Dark. Was horse for two days after the concert.
Just like a Cadillac Ranch is everywhere.
I LOVE THE BOSS!!!!!!
Awesome 👏

I caught him then; obviously a ton of fun but at nearly four hours, people took off early. Not kidding.
hahahah...vero!!!
What happened on the 5th and 6th days?
Obviously Cadillacs and Telecasters.
Do you have any other songs in this great quality?
Is that a cutoff jean jacket or jean shirt. I'm trying to steal that look
Blu-ray?! How? Where can I get this?
Where did you get the quality of sound and audio? More! Can you do Backstreets and Because the Night ..
I don't think I have the original DVD anymore. With today's tools I'm pretty sure I can make it much better.
Jist a flat old fashioned rock and roll sound, coulda been performed by chuck berry type of song.
That was Bruce’s Philosophy. What do you think the Sax was for?
Sounds kinda CCR
2:29 - the cocaine they ripped before the song starts to kick in....again at 2:57......bruce looks like he hadnt slept in a month lmao!!!
You do not deserve to be a fan
Bruce never touched drugs, barely even drunk alcohol.
Two Words: Tony Montana
