Hi pete & Lou , funny thing is them mice seem to love making a home in the back seats of classic cars my new project a car l always liked a Riley 1.5 had the remains of a nest in the back seat, and before that my Morris minor too.
Great to see the start of a restoration 👍 That’s quite a resto’ you’ve got there. Subscribed 👍 Once completed you will be in that enviable position of knowing exactly what’s what with your car 😀 Join the fb groups and a local club 👍 lots of knowledge in those forums and sometimes a good source of spares 😊
Oh yes already joined as many groups as possible, and already proved invaluable. We are allot further forward than the video. Already fully stripped out and engine striped. New videos every sunday
haha yer it would take a bit of effort to get one over to you, do you watch Badgertronix ? ua-cam.com/channels/oQd1dh55tqF-tbGuVnWPGg.htmlvideos i think he is based in NewZealand

Also from the Island picked up your channel from The Gentleman's Motor Racing Team, now subscribed and only recently this car was always parked on the main road coming into Godshill.
yes mate thats right, it belonged to Neil Lilleys son, NDL Electrical. it came up for sale and me and the wife impulse purchased it just like a crunchy at the supermarket tills, thanks for subbing, new videos every sunday and a tool review video every friday
Looks like a big job but a great project to do. My first car was a Morris Minor, love them! Would love a genuine convertible for some summer fun but way beyond my pocket these days. I look forward to following your progress.
thanks for watching, you can get bargains out there, but i imagine this in the end will probably cost about 5k in total over say a year or so. you can get convertible kits for a standard hard top
we paid £1130, at the end of each video we are showing a running tally of spend and hours, it drove but wasn't in great shape, the young lad that sold it to us used it as his daily driver but was going to UNI. such simple cars to work on we are total DIYers, thanks for watching, new video every sunday
not too sure, we need to have a better look and work out the original colour, it has had a red paint job over the original and then a blue over the top of that. my wife wants basically the original colour, maybe a shade lighter, thanks for watching

Good luck. Have you decided to go back to the original paint colour? Looks like Filford Grey
hi mate, yes funnily enough my wife wanted to put her back to a very similar colour, maybe a bit lighter, she's the boss
I guess you need all 'british' tools for this (i'm in NZ and its been metricated since the 70's)
Are they readilly available in the UK?
is that claredon grey?
