Been there, done that. It took me ages (about two months), just me and my wife. No power tools, just hand saw, hammer and nails. That was decades ago. I am old now, but I still feel your pain, going to bed with aches and exhausted.

Every time I see him ride the ridge it reminds me of Roger McGuinn riding the Chestnut mare. But Roger lost his hold and gets thrown from the mare in the end. Be careful when riding a bucking bronco.

That said, from a cattle rancher, Little tip for fence is to hang the fencing on the inside. Livestock often push against the boards for itching and scratching, but also just to test their boundaries. Having the board on the inside means the wont pull the boards out over time. The draw back is that the posts may not last as long, but less frequent fixing was preferable for us and just the replace post as needed or every few years.
Erin you are a hoot, Josh explaining all the angle cuts like a pro and you Erin ' I just did not understand what you just said. All I know is if it fits it sits'. Love it. Josh sitting on the top of the roof rafter at the end and calling down to Erin and Elly saying 'making progress, how does it look'? and Erin 'It's starting to look like a house' and Ely 'I love it'. Okay, if you're going to start doing videos every three days, then you might just as well invite us over for real-time viewing. There's plenty of land to house at least 1/2 of us. We can rotate once a week so the first round of us can head home to clean ourselves up and give our loved ones a quick hug before heading back. I'll let my boss know I can only work every other week because WWOG decided to be showoffs by posting videos with a time delay of 9-minute to when the actual work was done. 😜😜*chalking up*
Cutting a roof like that is both an art and a skill, you two are very skilled and persistent so I know you can do it, it may take longer than you expect but with your perseverance it Will be done Right.

Josh you are a computer because you see problems and the solutions pop up in your head and you tell them to Erin and us and amaze us. Erin is so good at understanding and keeping up. Loved the way Erin and Ellie found the missing board in the fence and fixed it. Can't wait until the outside is finished up and you start on the inside with electrical and plumbing no problem for you but it seems that it will be a lot more work than the A-Frame. So until the next one be safe and prosper.

I was raised on a huge farm. You will be surprised how many animals can figure out complicated latches also. Some cows and horses will even endure high voltage to cross fence line especially during storms or high stress situations. Farm work is the best life!!
