I love hiiim he’s so cute! I heard that the reason boy dolls almost always have articulated ankles when girls don’t, is so that we can have an easier time changing their pants lol. Which like I never even thought about, but I remember struuuggling changing Kens clothes growing up lol

@@Iheartreviewingstuff yea but they have a high arched foot which makes it way easier to put on pants vs if the omg/ Rh boys just had their flat feet sticking out. It’s like when we put on our pants, we point our feet down (unless ur wearing some super baggy pants haha)

I totally agree we definitely need more boy dolls in both Rainbow High and L.O.L. O.M.G. but boy dolls sadly have a history of not selling very well so I'm going to be cautiously optimistic about it

I really did not like River, but I am vibing with Finn. I think the babyish vibe people get from the face is cause we're not overly used to these proportions for boys in general - be it toys, or cartoon. Usually only girls have the big, long lashed eyes with the more petite features. I think, as you grow used to them, it will look less unusual. Especially with Finn, cause he actually looks very cute and compatible with the style, while still being notably male. I feel like that's the mark River missed.

@@judrawing I feel like for Finn it's okay as he's a surfer so I expect him to be a sporty type, but I hope they'll switch it up though because it gives me "boys have to be ripped" vibes while I'm personally all for the tummies instead ☺️

I like him, but I am pretty bummed they decided to make him rather than making the pink boy that was on the show. Also it is a little disappointing that there isn't many dolls in rh that have a more alternative styling. Like, for me the whole draw of an ART SCHOOL is that it's gonna be full of punks and goths and other alt kids, and so far there isn't many. With Pacific coast high I would expect most kids there to be more preppy, though. But why are both the boys jocks??

Would love as many boy dolls as they’ll allow! I hope they do a boy doll for every color of the rainbow like Finn is pink and River is blue so we need boys for red orange yellow green and purple (not those exact colors but shades of them like series 3 are all a shade of the rainbow colors)
He's got some great accessories, nice zipper detail on the bag and cool shades. A towel would've been nice, but the board looks well made. I always appreciate more boys in any doll line since they tend to be less common.

The reason the boy dolls have articulated ankles is because when u take their clothes off (pants, shorts,etc.) it’s hard for them to come off so the ankle articulation helps it be easy and the girls already have Heeled feet so they don’t need it

He’s the one I want the most from this line. I also want more boy dolls like Aiden and the assistant. I think MGA don’t see as many sells with the boy dolls and that’s why we never got a River with neck articulation because the originals never sold out😔

But that's just me. Maybe alot of others agree and I guess the fact that this guy exists must mean that River sold pretty well otherwise they (MGA) would not have done another male doll in the line. I hope these two are an indication of what's to come.

Definitely need more boy dolls from RH! kinda wish he had a towel too but the surfboard is cool. Or maybe one of the girls could have come with a surfboard as well to not make it such a glaring difference? idk. I will say his bag, shoes and glasses are everything! I do wish he was more coral than pink but I am a pink fan too and think it compliments his skin tone. Yeah just ready for more boy dolls and more outfits for them!

Phaedra, from this collection, is one of my favorites!!! but i was thinking, as well, when RH would make a boy doll series, like a Sport Team collection, since we already had a cheerleader series. i would love to see diferent sports too, like, Fencing, swimmer, runner, futbol and soccer player, boxer, gimnast, etc.

He’s so cute! My biggest confusion with the pacific coast line is that they seem to be rocking the “rainbow high” brand, but are supposed to be going to a different school. So I’m curious how they are going to work that into the story.
The school is called “Rainbow High” it’s on the Pacific Coast. Just another offspring from the original. So same school name.
