She's pretty cute. I wasn't super excited about this line at first, but I might be sold on Sunny. I actually prefer this design over the original. It would have been cool to get a full sized Sunny with baby hairs, matte face, and neck articulation though. Maybe next time.

I found Skyler and she's cuter in person, but MGA could've at least given her some bangs, and a better outfit. LOL Tweens are wayyyyy better, and you get so much more for $20 unlike the $24 something (plus tax) that we're paying for Rainbow High teens. I also agree with you about doing something different with other characters in this line. Great video as always.
Def agree that I'd love to see the Series 2 & 3 girls getting attention like this too. Kinda hoping that eventually Winter Break/Junior High do a "Series 2" in the future so more dolls can get it.
I adore these-it’ll be hard to pass on any of them. I just enjoy their aesthetic. I do wish they came with at least one other thing like a soccer ball, or school supplies, or even an umbrella or just…something. I’m guessing a lot of the dolls moving forward will have less, but who knows. Maybe they’ll do separate accessories? Do they stand on their own and that’s why they don’t have a stand?
Totally have to agree that it'd be nice if they gave us some dif versions more often than recycling the main girls so often. I get they are the MCs for the show but eh. But Sunny is really cute! I'm just disappointed they don't include stands. :/ I hope they wont have a big price tag when they are small and pretty simple.

Sunny is so adorable I cannot stand one bit of it at all and now JrH Sunny is killing me inside, she's just so precious.
I mean, I didn't really have any expectations for this doll line but I think I was secretly hoping that they would all have their natural hair color to show how they were before they went full color turned up before high school. Even if there were clip-in extensions like they would buy at Claire's, or streaks because they were so young, etc. little things like that that showed a bit of evolution to their current selves. I'm into them but I just feel like there are way too many similarities between their outfits (former and current selves) that doesn't give us an idea of how they grew up a little maybe. I mean, overthinking of course, but I just can never shake the feeling efforts for this doll line were just lazy or something. Still they're so cute and I can't wait to see them all in person.
Since the girls are freshman ( from what I gather from the show ) that come into the school like this, it seems to me like the creators treat these as their natural hair colors / the staple of the brand. They probably have no intention of ever showing them with natural hair colors since it would be less recognizable as the brand
At the price point mine was 24 dollars we should get a stand but I want the entire line they are amazing!💖🦄🌈
The junior line is great in my opinion. But there still one thing that keep bugging me. Why the juniors have more define face (kinda oval), when the regular rainbow high look more chubby (round)?
Somehow because of this, the juniors have more mature face than the regular, which is kinda tripping me out when I first saw them, the junior looks older
yeah, their eyes are somehow almond shaped instead of round and their brows are so thin and on fleek lol. Would've loved to see them with a thicker flat brows to make them look younger
The head mold probably had to be adjusted because of the smaller scale, it likely wasn’t intentional
I got this Junior High Sunny today. I wish she was the normal size and came with a doll stand, but I couldn't pass her up. She is the most beautiful Sunny doll in existence.

That is a good tip on turning the stand upright around. I did figure that out for myself too. Love the jacket, its amazing. Great review as always. Looking forward to the next one.
I never knew what the little part on the stand was and always put it close to the stand part so not at the top.. Oopsies 😂
Picked mine up today. Was so pleased to see she looks much better than her pictures. Can see so much more of her detail. Poppy will be the next one I get.
The only 2 things that I really like is the jacket and the backpack. Also her hair style is better than the original in my opinion, wish she was the original now

I do wish MGA would have created new characters instead a younger version of the first core characters, but it's really interesting to see the reduced size.
I'm of course going to get all of them, but I hope they give us new characters in this line and definitely boys! That would be exciting!

I don't quite get the story here since most of them met at Rainbow High so what is Rainbow Junior High? It would have been cooler if they did little sisters like the OMGs.
My guess is that they made these because of the LOL Tweens, and since the wave one girls are most popular and the characters that the animated series focuses on, they’re probably the easiest to market. ( just to add to your rant in the beginning about having so many series one / first line iterations )

I'm not a huge RH fan. I prefer OMGs. This girl is super cute though. However, I can imagine kids getting her and naughtily cutting the charms out of her jacket haha

She's cute and is also my favorite character, but I can't buy this series. It's killing me trying to keep up with the regular size dolls. I love the Pacific Coast dolls and the pool is bomb for Barbies too. Going broke.
At least they listened to us and gave us Bella for the Pacific Coast line 😂

i have creatable world dolls and they are i think smaller then those dolls.most rainbow high clothes fit them so well the velcro actually closes on the trousers ,i find most of the rainbow high clothes much to small for the dolls.good review i do love that sunny and the jacket is really intresting
They could’ve given us series one girls and then a bunch of fashion packs🤔 but I can make my own assumptions as to why not…

Not into Rainbow High, obsessed with LOL OMG instead, but I really like/almost love theses 💕 Wish they had flat feet and stands though. I’m glad they have less Rainbow High logos on the clothes.
I'll get sunny when marked down but they definitely should've made a new line of characters.

I love small dolls. I thought the junior high dolls would have flat feet but apparently they don’t??? What junior high kid is wearing heels? I WISH they had flat feet, every doll always has high heel feet and I am TIRED of it. Pacific Coast is my fave because of that.

Not sure but the bodies are very different in size. I could see like Sunny’s skirt fitting the regular doll. Or maybe a t-shirt. But the longer arms and legs might make it a little different
@@minitoyadventures i saw it on the "youloveit" site, but looking at it now, I can see that the arms of the clothing looks too short and Sunny's shirt seems stretched. Only one looking good is Violet. But I think she was the only picture I saw before.

She is adorable. Fortunately I only have a few Rainbow High dolls and no Sunny, so I do have room to pick her up. I think I might actually like the smaller head and overall proportions better. However, it is a little disconcerting to see a skirt so short on an even younger-looking doll. Call me an old lady, I guess, but I sometimes feel it's kind of pervy that adults like dolls that look like kids in short skirts. I mean, I think the doll is cute, and I differentiate between dolls and humans, but the whole concept just sometimes gives me pause.

She's so cute when I seen the pictures I was like no am going to skip this line but seeing you take her out the box. Is making me think about it twice since she looks so pretty and I do agree with you about too many line 1 original doll lines MGA I love rainbow high so much don't get me wrong and all the dolls are beautiful but we don't need any more of the 6 original dolls for a while.

I like her jacket 'cause there's a lot going on. I'm not a big fan of the Junior High dolls 'cause I feel a little underwhelmed, but I do like the designs. I hope that they'll make a new line with series 2 dolls. Maybe another cheerline or something new.
I do like these new dolls. But idk about the price. I think I would rather get an lol tween doll for 20 dollars that comes with a stand and a few accessories. And for 25 dollars I would rather get a bigger rainbow high that comes with two outfits. It's still really cute though. And I would pick one up if they go on sale for sure. Thank you for this review. I might have to skip these. I got then original six, cheer, and winter break. Things are getting a little redundant. These are cute but meh, what's the point. They could have switched it up with little sisters.
New rule is unless the hair is a new color or mix or wildly different from their debut doll, gotta pass.
Saying that, the winter break Sklar dolls curls are next level. That was worth buying. Plus I'm convinced the quality is just a little better in craftsmanship and materials. Compare them. They are just slightly better. Pacific coast? Not so much.

They're cute, however I'm going to pass on these dolls, I feel like they're trying to see what people are willing to spend money on and what corners they can cut, there's no need for mga to have another tween doll series
But remember with Bratz, they had the regular, the Babiez, the big Babiez, the minis and the kids! People want it all lol
@@magdlynstrouble2036time will tell if they decide to reintroduce all the bratz lines, people will always want specific lines to make a comeback, lol and omg are successful brands from mga, their tween series is somewhat successful, but people also want things at a cheaper price point but still expect high end materials, with the cost of production and supplies going up, companies have to get creative and this is an example of a company who gives us great dolls every time they launch one, but not including a stand with these is a way for them to see if people will still rush out and get them so they can exclude stands in the future, not just for this line but future releases they might not even give us extra accessories if they exclude the stand
