    Chiang Mai Organic Mushroom Farm is a small indoor / outdoor farm in Northern Thailand that cultivates a wide range of edible species including Straw Mushroom (Volvariella volvacea) and Oyster Mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). They have spawn available for sale. Check them out if you're in Northern Thailand!
    CordyFarmacy is an indoor cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) farm outside of Bangkok. Cordyceps is a renowned medicinal mushroom that is continuing to gain traction in the U.S. for its energy and vitality-boosting properties. They make high-quality fruiting body supplements from Cordyceps.

    Can’t believe I’m just getting around to watching this, but awesome content! I would love to see more like this. Side note- my husband and I lived in Thailand one year. It was wonderful- beautiful country and beautiful people. We loved it!

    great video! Thank you so so so much for making this and sharing with the world. My wife and I are moving to Pai (northern thailand). This has given me massive inspiration to start growing mushrooms there for our family and friends. Currently we live in subtropics australia and grow oysters.     great video, Thank you for sharing this one, just found it, gives me alot of good information, my neighbour has many Banana trees (I am sure he would not mind parting a smaller one for me), gives me great info on how to start here in Southern Thailand, with a limited budget... Also I think next time I am in Bangkok I know where I want to go for a tour :) ..... lots to learn but looking forward to getting started in a week or 2 with my first experiment

    what exactly is your main substrate for the cordyceps? so what is all in there have the strain at home now and would like to get everything I need soon

      Thanks for watching! I don't have the exact recipe for Cordyceps substrate used in this video- it also incorperates ingredients hard to find outside of SE Asia such as dried silk worms. That said, we did produce a step by step walkthough on cordyceps cultivation with William Padilla-Brown which has an ingredient list. Also on our blog on our website we have that same step by step guide.

      When it comes to medicinal mushrooms, there are two types of Cordyceps that are important. Namely, Cordyceps sinensis and Cordyceps militaris. The most famous of these, Cordyceps sinensis, does actually grow on insects.
