I am 75 and listened to her father all the time in the 60s; at the time, I would put on Ravi Shankar Tom Rush The Moody Blues Pink Floyd, and open all the windows. In early 2000s, I started listening to Nora; saw her in a small venue in California.
What an absolutely charming channel. Hiking tends to make conversations more intimate. I don’t know why, it just does. Nature providing hits of dopamine? Who knows. Subscribed!

Was gonna type something similar and then I saw u did it first. :). I've always Loved her even more than her beautiful voice and Music. Every time I've seen her in interviews, etc. she's so genuine, sweet and has Peaceful energy about her.
When I grow up I want to have the confidence of someone with Kevin's singing abilities picking up a harmonizing session with Norah f-in Jones! That's living in the moment and having fun no matter what right there!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the fact that Kevin's Guests whilst on the Hike are always pushed into the high hanging branches where they need to frequently Duck! LOL That's my favorite part . Love from Canada Kevin!
I saw Norah in concert back in 2003 in Dallas, great voice, great jazz, what a jewel.
I used to walk that exact trail once a week. One of the things I really miss about living in Los Angeles.
You know, there are artists that are such a gift to us all. Norah, you are one of those. Love and peace to you and yours in this season of Advent.

Shes such a down to earth gal. I watched a ton of her at-home performances during the pandemic. She played solo at the piano or with a guitar. She revealed her genuine talent so beautifully. It was actually one of the highlights of the pandemic!! Thank you Norah!!

Very likable and down to earth, and nice to clear up what her relationship with Ravi Shankar was, closer than I thought.
I worked a private dinner for her and her whole roadie crew. They were celebrating the last show of their tour in Oakland and she rented out our private space at a very fancy restaurant in San Francisco. It was her and 15 big burly guys with beards living the high life. She took them all out for an insane dinner. She was as sweet and humble as she is in this video. She ordered the Curry Fried Chicken because “that’s just like me!”
She is just so cool.

She is one of my all time favorite singers and Kevin this is perhaps my favorite hike you've done! That singing you did with her near the end was a joy to hear! Norah should join Dhani Harrison and do an album in honor of Ravi and George!

That’s saying a lot because it’s easy to believe that you’ve both lived a full life as people. The word “best” actually doesn’t even begin to describe my respect for your work on “Hiking With Kevin Nealon” and “SNL”.
To say the word “best” when describing Norah is like saying “of course”. If I didn’t already love you, I’d love you after this - and you’re a great singer as well! You two sounded great together! Rock on, Kevin Nealon! One of my good buddies is also named Kevin🤘💪.
As a musician comedian who is a brother of a musician comedian, this vid is a pilgrimage.
One of the things which inspires me to use that particular word to describe this lightning strike inspiration is that a profession rock climber 🧗 described his particular spiritual vertical earth hiking journey as a pilgrimage.
Norah and Kevin, you are ones who are in a practice of transcendence and ascendance.
I love Ravi Shankar as well. I love this one CD I have on the Angel Records label where the exotic music structure of the particular Indian music is literally described right there in the audio recording. The music is divine.
To sum it up, I appreciate the down-to-earth, relatable, lightheartedly serious/yet seriously lighthearted comedy quintessentially unique to the one and only living legend Kevin Nealon and the down-to-earth, relatable music. My brother was in a band. We both agree that most jazz musicians are probably nice, cool people in real life. Jazz lyrics tend to be introspective, very detailed and extremely caring about the human experience of existence - with a special attention to the appreciation of being humane and kind. Not that you only do jazz, Norah - you’re Norah Jones, so you can do anything your heart desires and it will sound as beautiful as the unique song of a Western Tanager before a Rocky Mountain dawn. Norah, you embody the human experience with such a natural, graceful style that really goes straight to the heart by working with extremely awesome musicians to help you create, record & perform music that helps you express some really cool parts of your actual soul. I am a huge fan of your albums, live performances and your podcast “Playing Along”.

I saw Ravi Shankar in concert at Penn State in 1967. Was the first time I had heard Indian music. I liked it and bought an album that I wore out.
Amazing. My one and only was 20 years ago, Ravi played with Norah's stepsister Anoushka, in a spectacular sitar duet.

I think the Greek was built in the 1930s. I read while researching a military history book that it was used as a barracks site during WWII. So, it had to be there before the 1940s. Norah Jones is awesome - another great hike and interview.
