Originally titled "My Home's Across the Smoky Mountains," this song was first recorded by Bascom Lamar Lunsford in the 1930s and also by the Carter Family (A.P., Sara and Maybelle). Two of these verses were written by Jimmy Arnold. Mac plays clawhammer banjo and Annie plays rhythm guitar.
