Hey everyone! Just a short explanation of this piece. This summer, all freshman beginning this fall at my university are required to read "Daytripper." Interestingly enough, it is a graphic novel, but it is actually a really cool and insightful book. Our assignment to go along with our reading was to take an excerpt and recreate it in our own way: through writing, video, music, etc. Of course, I chose music, so I decided to write my own little movie score to one of the scenes in Daytripper.
To go along with the music, I edited in the panels from the comic from the scene I was depicting. I hope you like it, and let me know what you think! If you like, or even don't like graphic novels, I recommend giving this one a shot. It's different than most and I really enjoyed it.
    Thanks for listening!

This is magnificent. Your transition of focus from Guitar to Piano has been amazing. I have been following every track with a smile and pride, having followed your music since very early on.

Well done my friend! The score was beautiful and the panels you added fit the emotional feel the music evoked.

A friend told me to read Daytripper, I'm definitely going to have to check it out. This was beautiful, and based on the panels you edited in, your music really seems to fit nicely :)

When I saw the title, I expected a Beatles homage. Instead, I got MANY FEELS.

Wow, beautifully done! I think the music really added to the panels you showed. I think I tend to not be much of a reader and prefer videos and video games instead, and one of the main reasons may be because they have music. Adding music gives more of an emotional connection for me, and I think if I could read something with music along with it like this it would actually make me connect more.

Beautiful. Really impressive way of appropriating an existing piece of work and recreating it. Not only does it fit, it ADDS to the original.

Awesome like always! You should play the Wolf Among Us. It has a graphic novel art style and has a great similar soundtrack.

Beautiful piece man! What are you using for the solo violin, that sounded especially good! Also, be sure to watch your levels, there was a bit of clipping during the louder sections :)
