I'm 45 years old and a brown guy, black guy, whatever. As long as I've lived, I've never once wanted to think about being represented in a film. All a movie had/has to do is get me interested. This generation or whatever wanting to be represented is ruining movies and shows imo! If it's even them. Not sure who's behind it, but it's insulting to me. Growing up, I loved Highlander, Ghostbusters, Predator, The Princess Bride, Legend, Lethal Weapon, Alien(s), Star Wars, etc. Never once did I want to be represented. I enjoyed the films for what they were. Great entertainment. That's it. This current generation of films trying to wag the finger about accepting real life issues and being fair to peoples lifestyles is ridiculous. I honestly believe NO ONE cares what people's lifestyles include, nor they skin color. This sh*t is whack af! Bring great storytelling in made up worlds back.
Yep, I’m the same way I didn’t care about being represented in a movie or tv show. As long as it’s good I’ll watch it. The movie industry are trying to rewrite history by adding DEI to popular IP in movies and shows. It seems like DEI is all about LBGT folks and they hate straight people and white men.

I stop giving my money to Disney in 2008. The writing was on the wall. I'm an Anaheim native and been going to Disneyland since September 1955. In my lifetime I have probably gone to the park over a thousand times. So many wonderful memories. Two of my kids have worked for Disney for years. The horror stories they share with me are horrible. DEI in full force and effect. Male cast members who identify as female are allowed to wear female cast member uniforms. With that being said my kids still love what Walt and his team created. Disney adults put the pixie dust koolaid down stop giving Disney your $$$. Demand better!!!

It's not sustainable, Disney+ is losing them money, the parks are failing, the movies are failing, sports centre probably still makes them money, depending on how much of fox they own, it might make money. There once was a core audience, many have grown old and don't care, many have passed on to another dimension, others moved to other IPs and others just don't give a s*it. There is no 'CORE' audience. It's gone, disappeared a long time ago. People move on, the enthusiasm dies down. Now Igor thinks this horde of fans are just itching to watch the latest SW show, Space Lesbians and the End of the Jedi. The audience is gone.

IMDB rating for The Acolyte - 3.3/10, Star Wars IV: A New Hope 8.6/10 - Those numbers speak for themselves. I was originally worried when Disney first bought the franchise that it would turn it into musicals (a joke), but what they have done to Star Wars is far, far worse.
They used to cancel these shows immediately, but now they just let them go on and tank the company.

I was there in '77 Bob, I know Star Wars because I am an original fan, you know one of the people who helped catapult Star Wars into our pop culture by going to see it multiple times. It was awesome then, we had never seen anything like it before and it blew us away. Hard to recreate magic like that and I accept that what is made today isn't meant for me, so be it. Peace.

Disney can ask customers not to state Disney has an agenda as slanderous. Disney cannot ask for people to not have an opinion or share their opinion of a product amongst others because a collective thought might form. I cannot understand how this company and its actors can continue to manipulate and demand that customers behave to fit in their schematic and hand over money. Still, the defense of this show is the viewers are bad people while never addressing that some, not all, actors in the movie have insulted fans and admitted to have near no experience with Star Wars. Or the discrepancies with established Star Wars narratives. Never considering that the story itself could be the problem as if it’s not even possible. Again, the viewers did something wrong, not the creators because it belongs to the creators.
What EXACTLY is the “product” that the customer is paying for. Some deep undercurrents with this company.

As a gay man, I never wanted to be treated as 'special'. I only wanted to be treated as equal to heterosexual couples. I'm married to my wonderful husband and have all the legal protections of a hetero couple so I am happy. This version of DEI is just not for me. I want DEI to feel organic and natural, not forced. This is doing more harm than good because this version isn't normal or realistic and this show is definitely not Star Wars. I look at it as fan fiction because it's never gonna be cannon in my eyes.
At this rate of Disney constantly getting dumped by the audiences for their woke failures (and rightfully so), and constantly trying too hard at damage control, right now I'm surprised that the modern Disney crew are still calm and haven't gone full-on Donald Duck and completely lose their temper on the entire audience (complete with lots of yelling and uncontrollable meltdowns) yet 🤬🤬🤬😅
