Greetings Tim, I hope you will soon be better and able to voice video. My you have been busy painting the gates at Holywood . Look miles better than last time I saw them. Take care
Thank you David.. I would have been very happy to have painted them if only they'd let me, but you know what it's like. Even on La'al Ratty, where I'm a member, I wouldn't be allowed to touch anything - even pick up litter - without first undergoing full training! Best wishes.
Hope you are well soon Tim The fresh air would be better than being indoors too long. My last trip to York was a bit like that. No sooner had I got a cup of tea then the class 33's came 50 mins early Glad I did not sit indoors rather than a seat on the platform
Thanks Colin. Seeing the doctor later this afternoon so hopefully will manage the two upcoming days at Carlisle - one involving a Cumbrian Coast charter. Let's wait and see!
Hope you have a speedy recovery Tim😊
@@thegrowler-blackwoodngauge Thanks Euan - much appreciated.

A multi-coloured banana! Thank you for your kind wishes.

Thanks David. Here's hoping!
Great video Tim. Really nice chatting to you on the train between Carlisle and Whitehaven when you were on your way to St Bees.
Get well soon!
Thank you Stephen. Good to meet you too. Hope you managed to catch something - but not the sort of thing which I've caught!!!

I caught the test train at the Citadel. You were lucky with the track machine
- - or unlucky not to have realised that it would simply turn round and go straight back home!
Possibly see you tomorrow for Sir Nigel.
Its not the same without your voice telling us what’s happening. Wish you a speedy recovery.
Thank you for your kind wishes - no signs of recovery just yet, I'm afraid.
Well, that's the strangest UP train I've ever seen!
Not the most comfortable ride for a long journey!
Nice video, like...
@@user-gk8gg1zt7l Thank you - glad you enjoyed it.

Get well soon, we need you out there! The gates seem to be behaving anyway.
Better than my poor old body at the moment!
Missing the dulcet tones already Tim!
Best Wishes for a speedy recovery.
@@iansomm Thank you. Hopefully I'll be filming 60007 tomorrow but it may be some time before I'm able to do a voice-over.
Why have they allowed the rail network to become the overgrown mess that it is.Surely trees should be cut back for safety reasons.
I'm sure it's all down to cash - or lack of.
Still screws with my mind an hst pulling a mk1 carriage 😂
- - a curious combination!
