I have to give you a special thank you for mentioning the Megacheirans, I have such a hard time finding any UA-cam video discussing them in any capacity. I’m pretty sure there’s only one video on the platform that talks about them specifically for more than a minute or so, and I really wish there were more. Them and the bivalved arthropods are some of the most overlooked Cambrian critters, especially for how bizarre and unique they get.
Seeing an Anomalocaris, big as a dog!, swimming up to see what the hell I was would scare me leaky. Which it would, most likely, perceive as a chemical attack. ...great...that's my nightmares sorted for the month..."thanks"
I have a Hallucigenia avatar on vrchat Whenever I'm using it, people start to freak out and ask me what the hell that thing is It's hilarious The sunburn question was actually pretty good Never thought about it
My father had two stages of sunbathing, going lobster red, then peeling sheets of skin. My daughter was nearly transparent, as a child you could almost see her circulatory system.
First off...I am straight!!!......well at least I saw you! lmfao! How is it that such a handsome man who could be Henry cavill's (sp) tin brother NOT be a movie star????
its skin is adapted to protect it from environmental stressors. It is moist and has a high water content, which can help mitigate some of the effects of UV exposure.
2:55 TACO SHRIMPS ARE REAL!
My fav from the cambrian is Omnidens. The largest known cambrian animal and possibly the first known megafauna.
Underrated tbh. It's so much better then anamolcaris
The cambrian had the Anomalocaris, thus it is automatically based.
Wait till you heard about Omnidens
Fever dream…Yeah, great descriptor…some really weirded-out, horrific-looking things we should be thankful aren’t around anymore today.
