I literally forgot about spanish colonies so forgive me 😭🙏
To summarize, Virginia was basically the favorite child. Especially durng the early USA days (cause powerful people were from the state) She had a good amount of power til after the civil war. A lot of the American Civil War’s battles happened in her state so she had to spent a lot of time recovering and that formal glory and high standing was lost….
