They had a concert in LA last October. I was there alone and probably 15 years older than everyone else. The next day I found out my Dad died during the time I was at the concert; not good mobile service at the venue.. you'd know if you'd been. The texts came thru after I left. Needless to say I'll always be emotional about their music having been the notes of his rising. Thank you Amber for your art and all you've unknowingly done for me this year.

This song suits basically every mood I ever had. I can listen to it probably to the end of my life and never get sick of it.
a couple of hours before leaving to japan in 2019 October . i could not sleep because i was too excited about my trip and i you tubed Japanese house because i was going to homestay in japan for one month and thats how i discovered this song . i clicked on it by accident .. i remember i listened to this song a good 10 times before boarding my flight that morning . this song always reminds me of travelling to Japan from Canada . and i stayed at a Japanese House as well haha

This song, quite literally, changed my life. That is not hyperbole. Lilo made me experience a crisis with an ultimately positive outcome. It's two years down the track, my entire life is different and I can trace the lines all back to the first time I listened to this song. And I'm thankful for it.
This is beautiful. Shes such a good live vocalist ❤
I mean... they have layers of effects on her vocals, as well as pitch correct. And this video is rife with vocal takes they went back in and re-recorded. If you don't believe me, watch her mouth and sound comes out even when she's already pulled away from the microphone. No, it isn't the keyboardists harmonies either.
It's a great song regardless, but lets not act like this group isn't taking a page out of The 1975 playbook and fixing the shit out of their performance with studio magic.

I find it funny how this is still a thing (not in the rude sense of the word), I had the same with one of the vocalists of Ultimate Kaos in "Casanova", I really thought it was a woman singing most of it and was weirdly confused to see it was a man when I for the first time saw a clip of the group somewhere (years a go, but still) :P.

if you look closely the strings are still strung up the way it does on a right handed guitar . so shes playing the guitar upside down with the strings up side down as well
