Funnily enough, AP sniping the opponent's core is a very common and effective strategy in vanilla forts matches. A standard rush will sell off the first layer of metal in front of the core, as theoretically every "early game" (workshop, armoury, and upgrade center) weapon is stopped by 1 box of wood and or 1 layer of metal. An AP sniper doesn't get stopped by that, so you just get an upgrade center, 1 or 2 snipers, AP and win. Very good job intern.
Honestly works really well in their matches too bc they only armor things once a blue moon, can’t remember ever seeing a double door on anything that wasn’t accidental
that was a regular sniper, non upgraded. he was able to hit a damaged plasma lazer which caused the back end to completely collapse. give that 1 sniper an award
@@Hagurmert no, it was upgraded, and no, he sniped the core, specifically the middle one. He them followed it up with a howitzer shot that detonated blitz's upgraded howitzer. There was also a time intern sniped blitz after blitz shot a plasma laser, but not only was it not what i was reffering to, that was with the AP sniper from earlier, and he detonated blitzs batteries with it, he didn't hit the (previously undamaged) plasma laser
@@Santisima_Trinidad he had a fast rate of fire. And no, the damage per hit of a sniper doesn't increase upon upgrading to AP sniper. He was lucky enough to find a spot with just background bracing to the core and then found a portal and hit the damaged plasma lazer. Sniper has standardized amount of hits to take out certain things. 3 shot a cannon, 2 shot a laser 1 shot other snipers, mortars, rocket launchers and machine guns and flak Sniper OP

I never mentioned the snipers damage, but you're still wrong, as the damage to bracing and metal does go up when you make it AP. And then add diamond and nuclear mods... And then invite everyone you know... Essentially, buy 2 more PCs each to capacitate the largest Forts battle ever.
Also, any chance of the replay files being made public? If you send them to Earthwork Games, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to make them featured, or just make public links to them in the description. Either way, I'd love to see some of those explosions from Blitz's perspective.

from what I've seen, Intern could have ended this battle like 6 min before the end of the video... 1. he missed sh!t ton of cannon shots because he didn't re-adjust the aim 2. He didn't repair his base making the aim for all weaponry inconsistent 3. he could have placed at least 2 more howitzers by repairing making the battle go way faster in favor of him 4. he didn't place machine-gunners at the back of the ship allowing him to be inefficient in his AA defense, but also allowing bombs that are more than I can count go ripping at his back... Did I miss anything?
Best not to think too hard about it these guys just aren’t that good at the game, which is fine and all but yes you’re completely right on every point, for fun I’ll name a few you missed • never double doors anything so constantly replacing stuff • places repair stations but always manually repairs anyway • commented about focusing production but was on 1 smoke stack for half the match • doesn’t armor anything besides a core after it’s been attacked • never reacts to anything other than to click repair instead of placing the counter to it • against blitz so the blitz waits around to throw so they can each get a win for their channels
Intern, one time, is like to see you not remind Blitz to build things and see how unprepared he is. I also much prefer watching you destroy him because he had the best reactions to being destroyed.
its scripted.... the designated "loser" will hold back as needed and only put on enough pressure to maintain appearances. You can pretty much disregard anything he "reminded" blitz about.
