Hi Stephanie, if you don't want to it manually, you can use VEED to auto caption your video in minutes. Timestamp on the video is 2:12 and link in description. Hope that helps😃
Thank you, Lauren, very useful! Do you think that the guys from Canva will soon integrate an auto synch subtitles? Currently, I find it as a very time consuming task.

The captioning function on Canva is archaic. And their playback is a hot mess. I did everything this video suggests, and my reel is chopped to bits and pieces. It jumps here and there. It skips places. I didn't alter the sections at all. I simply used the "split page" function exactly as directed. And I use the PAID version of Canva, not that I wanted to but they took away the option to purchase images for $1 a piece. I use maybe 3 images a month, but I need those images. So I'm paying all this money for a service that barely works. Sounds like the only way to fix that is to pay for another service on top of Canva. Is that right? Btw, the downloaded MP4 is better, BUT there are still glitches between captions. It isn't smooth. You can actually hear a little pop every time the caption changes. It's awful. Canva needs to fix this and add a captioning function that isn't in the stone ages, especially for paid customers.
Im a noob creator but I did over 100 shorts and some long videos and never paid attention for the split video option! 🙄This makes my life so much easier, long videos were always a total mess at the end with pictures and text overlapping! 😵💫 God damn! Thanks a lot. 😅
@@sallysamy00 No solution unless you upload the video without audio, add your subtitles that way. Record your audio and upload it onto canva. It's the hard way of doing it, but should work if you want to put forth the extra work. Best thing to do is use UA-cam's free subtitles.
Not on Canva unfortunately you'll have to manually type it out but if you want to auto-caption your videos you can VEED. Link in the description and timestamp for how to use it starts at 2:12. Hope that helps 😀
Whenever I split my video to add subtitles, it cuts the audio off and isn't smooth. Then again, I'm only using the free version of Canva. Seems like the only way to fix that would be to post my video without volume in canva, add the subtitles that way, and then record the audio and add it onto canva to fix the issue. Long way to do it... but too much work.
Yes you have to do it manually in Canva unfortunately, but if you skip to the timestamp 2:14 you can add automatic captions using VEED. Hope this helps 😁

absolutely useless. Do you think with all the tech out there I am going to play, pause, type it in myself every 10 seconds of a video. That would take hours. I guess I will be utilizing a different video edit software and ditch Canva.

Hey, have you tried adding subtitles with VEED? 👉 veed.video/3Rq5k0M
L watermarked
I just signed up - so far makes it so much easier than doing it in Canva
Canva seriously needs to add an auto caption feature...
It’s like they don’t take video seriously
That’s also what I learned from this video :D
Canva doesn’t prioritize Video Creation on their platform
true. it is time consuming shifting from one site to another just to make a single video
omg yes. it is taking me forever! haha
DEAR Canva, please add auto subtitles asap. Signed, Everyone
Great video if I wanted to do this manually. But I don't.

We hope so! We've been working on this on our own video editor which has worked great :))
Jesus loves you so much
@@VEEDSTUDIO yes but i finished all the video and then i see the watermark. 😢

**WARNING** VEED watermarks your video unless you pay a monthly subscription. Wish I knew this before trying to use it.
thanks simple and useful video
Thank you! for this video, it is really helpful.
Super helpful. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
What the meaningful content, Thanks.

So happy I could help! 😃
Thanks for your help!
I was avoiding this but they do have a transcribe app on there so u can do that nd not have to type it everything out

Thanks. Besides, Immersive Translate also has this function and I think it is good.
Thankyou so very much .❤❤❤
Thanks a lot, I missed that splitting option haha
Happy to help!
i love your video very nice make me fun learning canva subtitle ...

I have a problem when I split a video there is a glitch between clips

Actually once you download the video those gaps disappear

I use the upgraded/paid version of Canva and it is doing the same thing. My video is a hot mess.
yes, in paid version, my video is popping in every split .. horrible, i don't know why exactly ...
Thank you! its an awesome.
Since this was created a year ago, did they add an auto caption yet?
can va do have apps for automatic CC
I will still use canva ,,because Veed is not free 😁
question in heads is answered 😀
i like your voice its very attractive
great ideas :)
Glad you think so!
nice one
Thanks 😁
Can't even upload a video to Feed. No feedback, no pop-up, no info just not working. No Veed for me...
how to do automatic sub ???
I've done a video on Veed. How do you download it and save it? I'm able to download it but not save it.
Hello, once you render the video in the right hand side of the screen there's a download arrow. Click that and then click download MP4. 😁
It's not free
@@QueLittleLoco yes it is my boy

Smart Smart ahaahha
hope canva add auto caption like capcut did and other apps :(
Are you serious?? Adding manually? It takes millennia to do this all...we need auto generated
so basically if u wanna spend a year caption a 10 min video here are the instructions
It's a time-consuming process. We need auto subtitles! Is there any way to do it? Otherwise go to hell...
why not just say that canva does not add subtitles, this is a proper dinosaur approach and doesn't reflect well on your other content
THIS IS such bad experience though, they can just add an auto generated caption function
way too fast!
This is the only cons of Canva. Every time you have to split the videos
With VEED you won't have that issue 👀
Meanwhile Cc: 🤣
Subtitles but not automatic
way to fast... please slow down.
Geezus christ, lmao. That's a no from me Canva
