PLEASE READ - RE COMPATIBILITY ISSUE R2024: So this issue has nothing to do with what Didac has done as l used his magazine rig in 2022 and worked fine. However just this week l opened the rig from a previous project to use in another project and everything was fine in the viewport but when l rendered it the page animation was completely wrong and not usable. So l downloaded Didac's original rig again to start clean and still the same issue. So what l found and this was a total fluke was if you selected any of the Step Effectors Blend_1_End or Blend_2_End or Blend_3_End within the Object Manager the viewport animation is now screwed up just like rendering to the Picture Viewer! The issue is to do with one of the points on the Spline parameter within the Step Effector not animating when it should be. You will note that the word Spline in the effector has the icon that states its controlled by Expresso so the hunt began! The Expresso tag you need to go to is the 4th one (Animation) on the Magazine Null. When you open this Expresso Tag you'll probably get a bit of a fright cos it's pretty in depth to say the least. You will find all 3 Object Nodes for each Step Effector referred to above in the nodes that are coloured Pink. There is a Range Mapper for each Point of the Spline, but what l am seeing in the Blend_1_End node is the following Inputs Spline. [1] Y & Spline. [4] Y . !!! These reference the points on the spline but there is NO 4TH Point on the spline and you can't find Spline. [2] Y option as an input! DO THIS TO FIX IT - Drag the applicable Step Effector into the Expresso window (yes you have to make a new fresh node otherwise you can't see input 2Y ) this will allow you to create inputs for point 1Y & 2Y of the spline within the effector. Then just connect the applicable Range Mappers to the applicable inputs of the new node and everything should be correct now. Again this is no error by Didac, but something l assume to do with what Maxon have done "under the bonnet" with releases since Didac originally made the rig - Hope this helps AP👍

Is it possible to edit the model behind this rig? I ask because the mograph shader doesn't work with renderers like Octane. Mainly because maybe a cloner inside the object is set to instances and it doesn't support it. Rendering with native c4d shaders is just trash sorry!
Hi, I dont know if you still need this but I work on Redshift and there is a node called RS MultiShader and it acts the same as c4d native MultiShader material so it works perfectly when I render in Redshift. For Octane, I think they have that kind of node too. Hope you can find it.

Nevermind just find out a solution, just go into layers, enable the mograph structure of the magazine template and assign manually your octane shader to each single clones.
Fíjate que tengas la version Brodcast y sea una versión reciente del programa. Depende de dónde lo bajes es posible que, para que pese menos, hayan quitado algunas opciones
is there any way I can export this to Unreal engine with the textures, I've been trying to do it the whole day and I cannot :(
Hey, If i want to render the magazine it shows a black screen. If i delete it, the scene is rendering. Any solutions?
