- This one is actually an Evergo. Since I can confirm that this particular fan was made by Evergo, apparently every other floral ceiling fan with a glass housing and plastic blade inserts is an Evergo. That is not the case! For a fan made by Evergo, this one is quite peculiar. This is a rare fan, indeed.
These were sold through Montgomery Ward's catalog in the 80s, this one being 1984. Whether or not they were available at their stores, I'm not sure.
Very noisy.
I love how this fan has a beastly sound to it, I never tire from hearing it 😂. Very nice looking fan too by the way!
Love the manly humming noise this fan makes
I saw one of these at a restore with a three-way light kit on it
My grandparents had this fan in their living room, I always loved it so much. When I was 12, they remodeled and replaced the ceiling fan, but because they knew I loved it they saved it for me. When we finally visited them again we got it, I was so thrilled, my dad put it up in my room for me and it ran for one day, after that it never worked again 😭
We bought a house 3/2017 and found this same fan in our living room. MAKES NO noise on low and no vibrations. Don't like the floral designs but it works like a GEM.
That stary -up sound sounds EXACTLY like the sound that one of the old codep spinners in my great aunt and great uncle's old house. I miss that fan so much.
I like that hum it sounds like an AC window unit
I remember watching this when I was younger
I have a fan EXACTLY like it in my bedroom, but it has rosewood blades, the floral patterns are different, and someone disconnected the main light to add a light kit. But other than that, my fan is the exact same as this one!
Could it’s windings possibly be going bad ? Cause there is one of these at a antique barn installed and it’s dead quiet
I remember this fan had medium and high sequence test, but now the sequence is gone
I Love that fan. !
I have one in my house in my aunt's bedroom.
how do you change the bulbs?
That reminds me did you get the fans from the abandons house?
+James Dillman Cool! By all means, feel free to make a video of it.
Where can I find one of these?
RandonWizzard has one of these.
Yeah He Has One of These Ceiling Fans.

I like it is it at your house?
acnfanmanin Taking into consideration that I installed the fan, I can assure you that it is definitely not gear driven. It has a normal cast spinner motor. I believe this fan has a swelled capacitor, which is a quick fix.
Cool
Scotty's Hardware.
Look at the Scotty's Hardware version again and take a good look at mine. Once you do that, you should realize how different they really are. Multiple companies made and sold floral huggers. Mine is not only an Evergo, it's the only Evergo floral hugger on UA-cam! This one says Evergo Industrial Enterprise Limited on two separate stickers and can be found in vintage Montgomery Ward catalogs. I definitely have the right manufacturer.

Okay. I know that Montgomery Wards (Jefferson) was opened in 1872 and Montgomery Wards Closed it's door is in December 28, 2000 and Scotty's was opened in 1924 and Scotty's closed it's doors in 2005.
FanOfVacuums2 is it one of a kind fan?
@@joshuamanso2307 It is rare, perhaps I even have one in my house.

That is a bad hum
Indeed. It's literally the loudest household ceiling fan motor I have ever heard. It resonates through the walls and the floors upstairs. It's ridiculous. You really need to see it in person to get a sense for how loud it really is. It's not like I actually use it, though.
Is there suppressors on the mount? Sometimes if u dont have the suppressors it will be obnoxiously loud
Rustybearing 45 The fan is installed with everything it came with. Well, except for these little pieces of plastic that went between each bracket and the motor. It was just as loud before they got lost, though. I believe it does have some foam suppressors on the mount.
There anyway u can send me a pic or a private video of the bracket ?
Rustybearing 45 That would require me to basically take the whole fan down. I suppose I'll show you it if I ever remove the fan, but I'm not planning to. This fan has a strange mounting bracket. It's big, round, green, and very hefty. The fan is built like a rock. One thing I can tell you is that the foam is most likely rock hard. The rubber grommets between the motor and the bracket have sure seen better days. I know they don't do much good absorbing vibration.
why so noize
