This is the first time I have seen it made into a tasty treat. I admire these hard working women...100% It's extreamly hard work, our youth of today would never do that. So it was good to see a tradition still being used. The little girl is extreamly clever brilliant education. Our children here don't know anything like this. This is the hardest working grandma…! they are living with simple life. I was growing up in my country way back when…! I am some what ignorant about millte. My family farming rice that’s our main food we hardly had meat but lots of fresh water fish shrimp and vegetables. This grandma is so amazing she’s taking care of her family wishing you a good health and happiness love the video thanks for sharing..!

Younger stage losing or forgetting our fore father way of living and eating , When you show millet drinking. Past memory with my grand mothers when Iwas kid . aMillet and Rice are staple food in. I don't think I've ever seen yellow millet. The food was translated as "Ciba " in English; still not sure what it would it would be compared to in America. But it looks delicious!! I'll have to do more research. 🙂 when I was very young; I did see a grain that looked a bit like that. Is the millet sweet? Savory? Or a bit like wheat? I'm fascinated!! Millet is available all over the internet. The unprocessed millet still on the stock we see for caged birds. Processed Millet is made into flour (wow! Labor intensive the way Grandma does it!) It can also be purchased still in seed form. I kept thinking that they were going to steam the dumplings but they were already cooked.
