Great survival story! I too suffered from a TBI in 2014 and I remember trying to recover, while trying to avoid homelessness and looking for a job at the same time. I was injured by a man that I met in AA and when I reported it to the authorities, no charges were filed against him for it. It took years for me to recover and ultimately, I did end up homeless and no longer able to work. I haven't even been able to obtain disability since I am sure now after 9 years, they feel I am capable of working, which I am, but there have been so many factors in my situation that I decided to rely on my faith that God would get me through this. It sounds like she is doing all the right things to move forward and live her best life and I am happy hearing about the walk to raise awareness for this type of injury when there are so few who understand suffering from something like this or any other condition that is not visible to people, and there is little to no slack or understanding of what those that suffer go through. Thank you, Samantha, for sharing your story! 🙏🙏🙏
i really hope the POS that hit her isn't still driving.....but sadly, the trend in our society to to go easy on violent criminals, instead focusing on Parents concerned about their child's education and and political wrongthink
Glad she's doing better today and healing 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I'm glad she recovered well! What a blessing
Bless her and everyone that fights
