This turned out super cute! I was using it as a tester to see if my new green yarn would work up well and it did! :) My one thing is if you are making these to go around your headphones so you can have a little sprout make the cord longer! I did 30 instead of 25 and that still wasn't enough to get it comfortably around my Sony headphones, so if you're searching the comments and know you want it to go on headphones- use about 40-45 chains instead of 25! Thank you so much for the pattern it's adorable and I love my little sprout.
Love the tutorial, thank you for sharing it with us! I had to make some adjustments for my sprouts, because the leaves kept turning out very floppy and they would not stand up at all. Could be because I use cotton yarn. This is what I changed: instead of chaining 9 to start the second leaf, I chain 8 so there is no middle chains between the leaves. And then, to fit my headphones I chained only 20 chains instead of 25 and slip stitched at 10 chains. Now they are a perfect fit!
I've never crocheted before but this video has been very helpful. I've made a few attempts and it's starting to look right. My leaves are wonky so I think I'm counting wrong but even the bad ones still look cute. Thank you!!
As an intermediate crochet enthusiast, I know your struggles, but you just have to believe in yourself and practice, maybe having consistent tightness might help, that's what I observed that I had improved on when I was new to crochet, but it's best if you find what works best for you. Afterall it's the final product that matters. Good luck on your journey fellow crochet enthusiast. 😊😊
Awesome, this turned out soooo cute and was easy to understand as a crochet intermediate 😍 You show really well where you stitch - thanks for sharing ! ❤
The fact I used a loom bracelet band mover instead of a crochet hook combined with my complete and udder stupidity made this fully impossible for me. Amazing tutorial tho! After a couple tries I was able to make the first line with the 8 stitches but after that was a mess. Will try again!
i decided to make this for my friend who has orange hair xD but then i made one for my bag and its so cute so now im making a third one for her bag too lmao
This was my third crochet project and ngl it was rlly easy to do ik the video was rlly fats but if u slowit down to like 0.25 or 0.5 that would to be great cause i did the same and it turned out soo cute I'm obsessed i gave it to my sister and now I'm gonna make another for my brother
she made the crocheting look so simple 🥲 meanwhile I've been fighting for my life to get the damn leaves stay up and look smooth 😭😭 thank you for the video, tough
Could you maybe do another video but with your left hand? Also, instead of just a run through I think a tutorial would be best where you explain it step by step. Thanks!!
There are many tutorials on UA-cam to learn the basics of Crochet. (e.g. how to hold a crochet hook, how to make a chain, how to single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, what a stitch looks like and where to insert your hook, etc.)
would definitely be better if the directions were clearer on which stitch each is going into. please consider adding verbal directions 😢 also super hard to see which stitch to go into over ur thumb
Each stitches goes into the next available stitch. You do not put all of those stitches in the same stitch unless it's an increase. If you want the written directions you can also find them on the blog. But if you are a beginner, I would suggest that you learn the basics first to see what stitches are, what they look like and where you're supposed to insert your hook.
i wanna make one like this for my gf, but i keep messing it up. she'll leave (to a different country, for two years) in a few more days and idk if I'll able to finish it on time.
@@yerteacher6280 thank youuu, finally I'm kinda stable with the basics now, I'll start a new one tomorrow, and I'll lyk if I'm stuck with anything hahah. and again, thank you soooo much!!
@@xiaoxiaxia6568 Of course!!! I haven't checked my youtube notifications in a little bit so I'm sorry for responding back so late!! My friend wanted me to make her one after I showed her the one I made for my boyfriend so I don't mind remaking one to show you!! :D

I watched many videos, but I did not understand them, and I failed to formulate them, but when I followed your method, I made them, thank you 💓💓💓💓💓
i'm still a beginner so i'm not familiar with all the abbreviations, but your angles are very clear & you made it easy to follow along :) thank you

Can’t believe you did that in 1 sitting! 😍😍
This is so cute! I wonder if there would be a way to make a ginkgo leaf version of this. 🤔
That's a really cute idea! Let me see what I can do :)

i made it for my gaming headset its so cute tsm
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm definitely going to try this but first I'll find out all the full forms😂 I only know sc-single crochet😬
🌴🌴🌴🌴
The double crochet increase means to do 2 double crochet in the same stitch?
Yes
Could you maybe do another video but with your left hand? Also, instead of just a run through I think a tutorial would be best where you explain it step by step. Thanks!!
I can try
thank you so much!!🫶🏻
Awesome video! I’ve already made two! Does anyone know the song they use??
🌲🌲🌲🌲
What yarn are you using in this video?
I'm using Michael's Loops and Threads' Impeccable yarn :)
Very cute! what does "inc" mean? Increase? Does that mean just to do additional dc's? until we have to go back to hdc and sc?
Inc means an increase. So you make 2 of the same stitch in one stitch.
I’m super new to crochet so what’s the recommended hook and yarn size for this project?
I recommend using a 4.0 mm crochet hook and some worsted weight yarn
Can I do it with fluffy wool please ?
You can try. You'll likely have to change the hook size. Let me know how it turns out!
@@onceuponacheerio thank you ! I will tell you ☺
Are we able to sell the finished product? These are absolutely adorable! 🥰🥰🌿
Yes you can sell the finished product. You just can't resell my pattern or republish it in any other way. Thank you for understanding! 🌱
Please tell me the name of this song I love it !!!!
The song is from a game called I Love Coffee
What is the size of hook?
4mm, its in the description :D
Thankyouuu! It's a great video
Ok- it’s cute but how do you use it? Can you show it being used?
Theres an IG reel of how to use this on my Instagram: instagram.com/onceuponacheerio

what size hook did u use?

@@onceuponacheerio ok ty
How do I make it not floppy
🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@crochetdethuongsaigon2989 I think the original post is asking a question. Could you provide an answer instead?
Either try to tighten your tension or you can starch it afterwards if you want it to be extra stiff
This video is so hard to see 😭 I don’t understand it’s all blurring
🎉🎉🎉🎉
idk why the ones i make are v flimsy :(
What is inc 😭
Inc = increase. I wrote the abbreviations in the description 😊
I’m just starting to crochet, I personally didn’t understand and the whole hour wasted in vain
