Thank you so much for this video. We have been to Osaka two times already, and we love eating the local food there. I can definitely vouch for Acchichi takoyaki, Lord Stowe’s egg tarts , Rikuro Oji-San cheesecake, and Osaka Ohsho’s gyoza. I can’t wait to go back and try other places
I am planning my trip to Japan right now. I checked this channel for a video on an Osaka travel guide and couldnt find one. i log back into my computer and saw this one on my home page posted 30 minutes ago. What a coincidence lol
That was great timing! lol If you're not sure whether the video you want to watch is on this channel, just leave a comment on any video, and I'll provide you with the link (if there are any videos about that on this channel). So, feel free to comment!
I recommend staying at the Holiday Inn hotel because it has a shuttle bus from train station to hotel that travels back and forth every 30 minutes. They also included a free breakfast buffet. I wish I would have seen this video before I went on my trip.
@@lizpedroza9965 thats a pretty expensive hotel to be in Osaka, i mean i guess thats why they can have shuttle busses going that often, i would rather save my money on a cheaper hotel around Dotonbori, as i really only sleep at my hotel when im in japan. And its not like its hard getting around in Osaka from Shin-Osaka. But evryone travels differently.
Perfect timing! My wife and I are coming back to Japan to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Between your recent Kyoto video (and previous ones), all your Tokyo videos, and this we will be studying them! Thank you for your videos.
Recently, I followed Nakai Seiya's Railroad Journey on NHK, and loved how the sceneries across Japan. So, I'm inspired of putting railroad travel across Japan as one of my main methods when I get to land on Japan, trying to follow Nakai Seiya san's trail, and mix it up with every of your travel guides to get the true experience throughout Japan. 😊
Been to japan 4 times allready and i keep watching videoes in hope to learn something i havent seen / done yet, think you guys are the first to bring up Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street and tsuruhashi. It seems that a lot of people only speak about the main attraction and places around dotonbori / namba and tsutenkaku, so this was refreshing. A lot of people introduce America mura as a place for younger people, though i will rather say it's a highlight for alternative people in general, yes that means mostly younger people, but plenty of old awsome people as well.
Thank you for watching our video! We love sharing places that aren’t featured on other channels, so we’re glad we could introduce these spots! There weren’t many international tourists in the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street, but if you’re looking for a local experience, it’s worth visiting :)
@@samurai_junjiro my Osaka friend is going to show me around Nishinari Ward which i also havent heard anything about, so going to be interesting. Very few tourists find their way down there, and as i gather its really cheap and lots of local speciallity there
Thanks for this amazing vídeo, Osaka is a very beautiful city that i must ad to my list of places to visit, your vídeos are extremelly important for me, and i hope to use your information someday. And one more thing, i loved the idea to take a picture dressed as a samurai, i always wanted to learn how to handle a katana.
Hi, João san :) Thank you as always! Osaka Castle is especially popular among international tourists. Oh, you mentioned before that you're interested in Katana, right? I think the experience of dressing up as a samurai and taking photos would be perfect for you!
Thank you for watching our video! Oh, have you ever been to Osaka? It's such a vibrant city with lots of fun places to visit, and it's one of our favorite spots too!
your content is amazing! The guides are extremely helpful, I've been to Japan a couple of times before so I know the recommendations are legit. The last time I've been there was during pandemic, so next time I will visit those new places for sure, thanks!
Osaka is amazing though, September is still fairly warm and Humid, so be aware of that. And the side streets of Osaka do hide some gems, like crazy whisky bars and such
You have the best EVER videos on everything about Japan! I've been there but it'll be a different experience after having so many great tips from you guys. Thank you very much! Nice job!❤
my best tip when it comes to traveling in japan in general, dont go off on your intended station, there is so much to see between the stations and a lot of the hidden gems are in the sidestreets a little further from the stations.
I stayed in the Shinsekai area when I was in Japan last, it was really great. I only spent one night in Osaka though, next time I go I hope to spend a few more days there.
Shinsekai and Dotonbori are famous places in Osaka, but there are many other wonderful spots as well. If you come to Japan again, be sure to check them out!
Hi! Thank you for your video! it's really help! but if I can add something maybe you also can add destination like Katsuoji temple? I really want to go to here but still can't find any information about how to go there from osaka hehe
great video! our family visiting japan next month. some places are not in video we can recommend especialy with kids : Nifrel, lalaport, children museum, housing museum, cup noodle museum, spaworld and den den town. but 64 is plenty enough. good job!
Thanks for the video! I've added a lot of your suggestions to my list! we've decided during our trip to Japan in the Fall we are going to spend a whole week in Osaka just to see everything, we were just going to do day trips from Tokyo but I think it would be best to stay in Osaka that way you can experience the vibrant night life as well ! :)
That sounds great! To really enjoy Osaka, I think you need at least 3 days. Dotonbori is lively and bright at night just like during the day, so you’re sure to have a good time!
with 1 week i promis you, you'll barely be scratching the surface of Osaka. Also if you dont allready know, subs stops fairly early, so staying close to Dotonbori (walking distance) or Umeda is recommended, there are plenty of other night life spots, but these are the most vibrant in my opinion.
@@deaddrunkgamer7399 thanks for the advice, I figured one week wouldn't be enough considering the 4 months I spent there still didn't feel like enough 😅
I'm going to Osaka by January next year and also my first time in the country. Are these spots/locations open during winter season? :) appreciate your feedback
Hi!!! I have never been to Osaka!!! So want to go! I do plan on going on 2025 😊❤ Thank you so much for sharing and can't wait to go in the future! I need to go to Japan for like 2 months to go everywhere and see everything! 😊😅 2 weeks in never enough! Last year, went 3 weeks, this year I'll be there for 2 weeks in November. 2025... I'll try to go 3 weeks and definitely go to Osaka 😊❤
Hi, Yuki san!! How many times have you been to Japan? Osaka is famous for Dotonbori and Tsutenkaku Tower, but there are also many other amazing places to visit. Be sure to visit someday! Thank you as always :)
I usueally go 3 weeks at a time myself, and its never enough indeed, there is so much to experience in Japan, and it only gets worse when you start getting friends there.
I agree and disagree, its a beautiful attraction, and every time i visit Osaka i still go to the castle, going inside the castle is indeed not really that worth it, sure if you want the view from a different spot, be my guest, but for views, there are better spots.
