@@samurai_junjiro What can I say ? It was too delicious to not to come back 😁 The shop is very small and easy to miss with all the people. Credit goes to my girlfriend for spotting it 🙂
Personally, I think Nijo-jo palace is the most beautiful and serene. But in general, all palaces across Japan are inevitably majestic. O.M.G, Arashiyama is so beautiful 😍. B.T.W, do JR still offer trial rides of L0 maglev train?
The temples and shrines in Kyoto have a special atmosphere! I heard on the news that the maglev train's opening has been delayed, but I don't know the details :(
Such details and comprehensive video!! Thank you! Extremely useful for my upcoming trip to Kyoto. Also I am debating whether to stay in either Kyoto Station area OR downtown Kawaramachi/Nishiki Market area. Will be my first time ever so will be doing a lot of sightseeing as in your video. Which area would you recommend? For food and transport.
Thank you for watching our video! Personally, I recommend staying in the Kawaramachi area. It's convenient for taking the train to Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The Kawaramachi area has Nishiki Market and Pontocho, and compared to the area around Kyoto Station, there are more restaurants, so you can enjoy a variety of dining options :)
@samurai_junjiro I sure did! We had a great time and maybe I'll visit again on the future and and stay longer too cuz we only visited for one day but it was filled with so many places to go and see and eat! ☺️😁
Hello my Japanese friends, i am enjoying your vídeo that shows what Kyoto can offers for tourists, it's amazing how such a small country like Japan can offer. I don't wanna be rude with you, but i am hearing that the Japanese authorities are closing some attractions for non-Japanese tourists, i don't know how true is it, but, i saw some news about this issue.
Hi, João san! Thank you for watching our video! I don't know much about it, but I have seen news about over-tourism being an issue in tourist destinations like Kyoto. It seems that bus stops in Kyoto are so crowded that locals sometimes can't use them. However, it's great that tourists are coming to Japan, so I hope some effective measures will be taken :)
I recommend PAPABUBBLE, a candy shop. You can even watch them make the candy right in front of you :) They have locations at Tokyo Station and Haneda Airport. 【Address】maps.app.goo.gl/uGGfJ83UGUGb4d5F8 【Address】maps.app.goo.gl/4m6pbTpYNMRJ9wAG7
We usually stay at budget places, but if you're looking for a place to stay, I recommend staying at a hotel around Kawaramachi. It’s close to Nishiki Market, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and the Gion area, and it's also convenient for visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine :)
Wow guys 48 min vid is great but hard for me to get time to watch it all very long Don’t get me wrong love your vids guys it’s just my opinion!!! ✌🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very informative, though I wonder what type of cheese is used in Takopan.

The Gion area is not closed off, but entering private roads is prohibited.
