The MU2 is hans-down (!) the most impressive audio product I have ever heard. I pair mine with Feliks Envy with upgraded tubes and Susvara. It's next level. Incredible detail and seperation (you can focus on anything in the mix and hear it clearly) but somehow in a musical coherent presentation. It really does amaze me that thing.
Thanks for the video. Looks good and Hans knows his stuff so if you have the funds and want one unit it could be the way to go. I prefer separates so besides the cost it’s not for me. I Like having a separate streamer, separate DAC and separate preamp. Allows me to tinker and upgrade over time which I’ve been doing and loving it. Rock on guys!
I'm sure it's good but the problem is the longevity of these streaming products. They're often bested within a couple of years and new more capable products are available at half (or less) of the price. Then, there's the obsolescence and apocalyptical depreciation that inevitably transpires. If I'm losing $750 on a $1,500 unit at the time of sale - that's fine, but not $15,000.
Not going to watch this. Why? How many thousands of dollars is it? Bunch. That's why. Will it sound better than my $130 Wiim? Probably not, it'll just sound different. Good. I don't want to get a loan from my bank to have something that just sounds different, but not really better than what I have & can easily afford.
Yes more expensive gear will sound better than your system 10 fold! If that equipment is above your pay grade that’s perfectly fine but a lot of people have the money and want the best sound. You can’t compare 130 dollar anything to anything above 1,000 and every 2 grand there is another jump. I have heard systems that would blow your mind many of them.

Level of musical engagement with MU2 is unbelievable, Upgraded from Chord Dave , this guy is next level …

It doesn’t get any better than this
Hi Kevin, is this a simple cash for comment advert, if not ,can you explain why is it not please?
So to her great sound you would not have to stream this through another DAC?? Like some streamers?
digital only right?
Has Analog inputs for the preamp.

Is everything class A?
Grimm audio MU2 price
Sounds like it does everything my NAD C658 does but for 10x more, so it must be pretty good!

Having heard this unit I can say that if you have a good system, YES it will sound MUCH better than your $130 Wiim. Is the Wiim Great for $130 sure.

Wishful thinking from someone that doesn't have the cash to afford anything more.
