All Hail Frank Iero for those melodies. Amen
Do you mean Frank Iero?
amen
The melodies were actually written and played by Frank
@@guywithaguitar1827 OH DARN sorry abt that
south easthetic nevermind, ray toro is the sexiest anyway
Goals in life: to play this song like you
You can do it, just practice consistently, even just 20 mins a day makes a difference... This is one of MCR's easier songs, I still couldn't do some of their fast ones cleanly....Rock on!
Fish L. thanks for the encouragement words, you did an amazing cover :)
ray and frank writing creating coexisting melodies always leaves me in complete fucking awe. i can never get over how perfect they are together musically
I love the way the the lead plays the vocal melody (never coming home) in the chorus and then repeats even though theres no vocals in the next bar. Such a sweet touch
MrMW2nd wait are you talking about the octaves that go along with the vocals by frank plays the octaves and that rythem guitar ray plays the power chords
@@esthermartins4062 yes
I love that part too. It’s because she’s never coming home. It’s the ghost!
I've heard this in other songs and it ALWAYS works. It's a great way to make the line seem like it's still repeating, but since it's guitar instead of the vocal, you don't get the words confusingly overlapping each other. It feels in a way like you're still hearing the words without them being there. Genius. Also very fitting for the "ghost" aesthetic of the song. You're hearing something you think is there (the vocal), but it doesn't exist at that particular time.
The top one is Frank's
The bottom is Ray's
spot on!
frank is top ;)
@@deadgarbage5797 staaaaphhhh hahaha 👏🏼
this is so weird out of context
No, top one is Ray and the bottom is Frank. (U can see that the top playing is solo)
that sea green guitar is absolutly BEAUTIFUL. outstanding cover dude
I’m literally trying to learn this while looking at your hands rip me
This is incredible. I’m wanting to learn guitar from scratch just to play this. Wow.
Best of luck :)
You can do it bro ;)
@@scaredbread one year later and I still haven't learned, but one day!
Tayshaun Huerta that’s dope, I ordered a Epiphone Les Paul Custom that’s due to arrive any day now! which Les Paul did you get? (or plan on getting?)
Andy Pandy , due to money issues I actually couldn’t get the LP, But I plan on getting the Epiphone Les Pual Traditional Pro II, with a vintage sunburst finish when I can get the money to Afford it.
I have the same Ibanez but I don't have the same talent lol

Such a beautiful song.
Beautiful
such a good job! appreciate this 🙏🏻
The intro of this song is like my inner emo screaming that he wants to live in a developed country and cry about how no one loves me, and spend entire evenings with my emo girlfriend laughing about how we love each other :(
Great cover and great tone dude

Esto me dan tantas ganas de llorar
the rack of guitars behind him left my jaw on the floor
good job bro..
This is amazing brother! Makes me want to cover this song as well hahaha. May I ask where you got the backing track from? I cant seem to find it!
Please, cover mcr - this is how i disappear😊
Do you think the Yamaha thr10 would be a good amp for the octave chords in mcr? I'm pairing it with a schecter demon 6 fr
Muito bom amigo. Abraços
The best last song when i close my jamming session with my guys
men this sounds beautiful, sound so great. What tabs did you use it? Thanks
You know what was also released on this day mmm whatcha say
Is there some kind of pedal or effect on the clean guitar or are you just playing straight from the amp?
Nice jim(:
More mcr pls
Can I just say that you have some awesome guitars, how many exactly?
I have the same one
good job bro missing a few key octave notes in the chorus but still killed it!
Thanks bro.
Nice cover man! I was just wondering if where did you find the backing track?
Pretty sure it’s just the original song
Can you post a video of just the top blue guitar part please
I’m a drummer but I thought it would be interesting to see what the guitarists have to do
Definitely not as hard as drums that’s for sure. Much respects for you drummers
Thanks man. Sorry for the long response time life’s been tough. Haven’t been able to drum lately
Is this in standard tuning (EADGBe) or a dropped tuning? Excellent tones btw!
standard
I want that ibanez
You have a lot of guitars :O
GAS can never be cured...
What's the alternative ending
This is awesome!! How do you record your guitar and make your videos??
Thank you! To be quite honest, I'm not that good so it took me several takes. And my GoPro died when I was doing the Les Paul track, so the that 2nd part was just a play through over my covered track. My guitars goes into the focusrite interface then to Cubase 8 element. They are just layered on top of the original music (orginal track volume is lowered -8dBs so that you can hear the sound from mainly my guitar tracks), and I just realized that's prolly why it was called covers haha
Fish L. Thank you so much 😊

Eargasm.
Do you make any tutorials or would make any?
How did you get your beautiful tones?
Thanks!
These are straight out from Kemper, no post EQing. Amazing unit...worth to try it out. The profiles I used was the Amp Factory Carvin Legacy (IBZ) and Michael Britt Marshall 69 (LP) I think.
Oh damn that's expensive, but I can see (or hear) why. So how did you go about recording this with the Scarlett then? Since your guitar was plugged into the interface, how were you using the Kemper?
Oh, my guitar goes into kemper, then Kemper out > Scarlett > DAW. It took me a quite a while to save up for it...But for the cheaper alternatives, Helix LT is awesome, if still too expensive, I'd recommend a Yamaha THR10 in a heart beat, I used that for a long time before my upgrade. For bedroom playing and recording, that is killing.
Thanks for the recommendations, I'll check them out. You should do more MCR covers btw, they're good; a lot of people do them very wrong.
Thanks man, that means a lot to me! I'll try my best. Just too much going on in life, family, and work ... I wish I have the luxury to be able to play guitar everyday haha.
what cam are u using ?
So what the thing you wear to your guitar next to the first fret called
fretwrap
Where did you get the tabs?
i only had my left headphone on and i was like "why cant i hear any of the lead stuff??" LOL
Wonder if he used any distortion on Frank's guitar part. . .
nice videos bro for my education! I wanna ask u.. how can you reduce the guitar instrument from orginal track? so your guitar instrument heared. thx u n god bless u. rock on!!
you can just load the original music in the DAW and reduce it's level. hope it helps.
@@fishl.1585 thx a bunch sir.. What is DAW? The app doesn't?
@@hisyamrifqi1225 A digital audio workstation (DAW) is a hardware device or software app used for composing, producing, recording, mixing and editing audio like music, speech and sound effects. DAWs facilitate the mixing of multiple sound sources (tracks) on a time-based grid. I'm using Cubase 8 Element, but there are tons of options out there. Good luck :)
Honestly this is better than the original! ~ Great Work!
I like this cover but it totally isn't better than original.
Is there anyway you could make a tutorial for the rhythm part (the guitar that was play at the top’s part)
top one is lead though if i'm not wrong
Yeah top part is lead
ame is bored sorry to crush your dreams but top part is Rhythm and bottom is Lead :D
when did you start learning guitar ? im really new into guitar,i wish i could play like you :(
I started learning when I was in college, self taught tho. Been playing on and off for quite some years now, but still not the level I wish to be yet. (not able to shred hehe) But I'd say you should be able to play this kind of songs if you practice consistently , like 1 hour a day or more, depends on your schedule, could may be just a couple of months if you put in enough time. Rock on!
Did you a tabs ?
Please can you give me the tabs? Or tell me where I can get them?
Sorry I don't have the tab, but ultimate-guitar might be a good starting point....
*Looooong live to Bad Bunny* , _MCR __-never-__ coming home :,(_
Oh hey theyre back now
Well I've got some news for u
Can u do a tutorial on the main guitar man? Please i wanna try to learn this song before my moms birthday but no one has put any good tutorials
If you download ultimate guitar tabs on your phone or tablet or go on it on your computer you can search this song plus hundreds of others and practice on your own time i know for sure they have this song on it because thats what i used for this song
might be a bit late, try learning Frank’s Rhythm section by downloading either Songsterr or Ultimate Guitar.
Can you send me tabs please?
Just a question, which one is lead and which one is rythm? I'm sorry I'm not very good at telling the difference. I'm kinda new to playing the guitar
Pretty sure top is rythm and bottom is lead
Thank you!
It's actually the opposite. Bottom is rhythm, and the top is lead guitar.
Source: I play guitar
@@k.m.snyder5682 Ohh sorry. My mistake
@@sarah-is3dy You're alright, a good way to tell is that the lead plays the melody, while the rhythm plays the rhythm. The lead is generally speaking more complex than the rhythm
I'm just curious, and I mean NO OFFENSE by this, but is that the way MCR plays it? I just want to know because I'm trying to learn it. Thanks!
Ha, I played it by ear so I'm not sure if my fingering is 100% to the original, but it should be close like 95%+ I hope :)
0:17 what chord is that?
@@hotcuppatea5024 sorry, I was looking at the wrong song earlier, I guess it is kinda Em7sus4 then to Em6sus4, basically it is E(root), A(4th), and D(b7th) then to C#(6th). Hope it helps........
@@fishl.1585 thanks, I'll try this out later
What’s the point of the wrap behind the nut?
Cancels out excess string noise that happens behind the nut. It's minimal and not really discernible to the naked eye, but most people use it to keep that noise out of recordings.
