Can we just appreciate that there was talking through the ENTIRE video... until the reprise at the end? Like, EVERYONE was "tuned in" while Alastor went full Radio Demon.
Not to get all meta, but I do think there is something to say about everyone talking through Vox's entire part, only to INSTANTLY silence themselves once Alastor got going. Like, as soon as "Is Vox as he purports?" is said, everyone is just... dead silent and listening to Alastor go. Up until 1:58 you can barely hear the music over their collective chattering, but Alastor starts singing and... it's almost like they're just hypnotized. Which is ironic, considering it seems like Vox is supposed to have that power, but can't keep anyone's attention.
That's because Vox basically has no carisma, not because its a bad character, but just see the reaction on the Pilot, literally everyone is shocked in the first 10 seconds of Alastor, they love his concept in the spot, and that's the deal, Vox can't compete with Alastor menace, and people love to see the radio demon, because he is not usually showing his true identity, but when he is, its abominable lol

@@MariaSantos-uo3pbwell yeah, but vox’s charisma is different from Alastor’s. With the latter, he’s like a walking enigma. You have no idea what he’s gonna do or where he’s gonna go. You know he’s gathering pieces together, but you don’t know for what or why. He’s very neat, organized, old fashioned, and despite having an entire hotel and staff surrounding him, typically prefers playing solo. Vox on the other hand -He’s like a modernized business rival to the radio demon. Plus, given enough time, his flat screen face makes him easy to read, unlike the never ending smile of Altruist, Alastor. He knows how to play with others thanks to the V’s, and he’s not afraid to use that against his enemies, like taking valentinos advice about sticking sir pentious in the hotel.

So just now I came to a realization that Alastor literally mentions ln his verse; Vox simply has to keep reinventing his character/lines so you cannot avoid to look and try to pay attention to catch all the details (essentially overloading the viewer) while Alastor can catch everyone's attention with much less effort.
