Should England Get Rid of Root as Captain?

- Joe Root is among the worlds best cricketers, and is one of England's All Time Greats. For a player who is often compared to Virat Kohli, Steve Smith and Kane Williamson, however, he has somewhat fallen away in the estimations of the cricket-watching public, and England's poor showing throughout the recent World Test Championship have some suggesting that he even needs to be stripped of the Test captaincy now, and handed to the likes of Ben Stokes. Nonetheless, that would be both irresponsible, and in all likelihood, an impossible task.
Please note that Ben Stokes age isn't 38, as the graphic in the video mistakenly says. Was a remnant from when I made the graphic for James Anderson.
Great to see you back with another awesome video. I agree that Root should be kept as captain.
Aaaand he's back! Was starting to think you'd quit

Great video :)
Fantastic work, Nicholas.
Return of the king !
Watching from nepal .
Good video. England's issues aren't captaincy. It's poor quality of batting. Nasser did a good piece on it recently after they lost to New Zealand. Unfortunately for England they don't have the batting depth in their county system, which is kind of crazy given how much bigger it is than the Sheffield Shield. In my opinion Joe Root is being targeted for his captaincy wrongly when it's the other batsman failing to put adequate runs on the board.
What's worse is that England's bowling is in decline now too. Anderson and Broad are in the twilight of their careers, when they retire there will be a serious void in the team comprable to when McGrath and Warne retired at the same time. There are good bowlers in England's extended test squad, but no one of the level of talent or experience of Anderson or Broad as all the other bowlers are relatively fresh or on a constantly changing roster also. All this gives Joe Root significantly less to work with. There is literally no one else, Root will simply need to tough it out as England's long term captain.
stokes is not 38.
Ah. Cheers for pointing that out. Must've forgotten to change the age from James Anderson.
I have a question that
Do you think in future t20 will be watched more than the odi world
Because it has more teams, it is watched in many countries because it is short and countries like nepal and uae where cricket is popular can also qualify and we can see a upset from them
What is your thoght about it ???
is everything alright bro haven't heard from you for along time ....
Time to boot root
You posted a video after 2 months
