- There are not enough metal covers from the NES Godzilla game, and something must be done about this.
For whatever reason we had a lot of the old Godzilla films on vhs tapes when I was young, and we would watch them all the time. I've been watching them again more recently, and find I still quite enjoy them; they remind me of my youth of course, but the poor dubbing, absurd plots, and charming effects/miniatures still make for an entertaining watch. It also reminded me of this game, which I also played a lot as a kid, and its great ost, so I had to cover my favorite track.

For some reason most people familiar with the game don't know this, but in the Japanese version, this song was ONLY used for Planet X, rather than Planet X plus the title screen. The Japanese Famicom title screen used an 8-bit remix of Ifukube's classic Godzilla march theme, which goes unused in the NES version (you can still listen to it via the sound test menu, which is accessible via the password screen).
I like this change. Thought it was an awesome title track!

I added the tabs in the description, for the tremolo picking lead part at :24 I tune the G string to Bb. Might not all be perfect, but should be pretty close

This is an awesome rendition. However, the volume of the guitar is much too low. You really need to boost up the guitar volume in relation to all the other sounds to really make this pump. If you do that....this would rock 10x harder!!!
