We have the great privilege to share with you a fantastic story, a very inspiring one regarding a project going back to the roots of mechanical watchmaking, meaning the power of the hand in accomplishing the most beautiful timepieces possible.
But obviously it doesn't end there since one of the main objective of this project is to attain manufacturing quality criteria as we are today accustomed to thanks to CNCs and other special technological tooling.
The good news is today we are only airing to you what will seam as a trailer, because we have actually been following this project since its inception and have a formidable documentary type content that we will share with you before the end of the year.
Based on the trustworthy relation we have with Mr. Robert Greubel, Stephen Forsey and their team, we have indeed been able to have our cameras wander around their facility at every stage of the project. It was fascinating to witness from the inside all the difficulties but also the enthusiasm shared by the people working on this great journey and I can promise you that the result is spectacular.

Incredible!! While some brands are trying to maximize profits by outsourcing and using the most efficient (read: cost effective) methods, they are throwing all that out the window to revive a lost skill!!

i mean this is how all really high end watches should be made, companies seem to like to lean on the idea things are handmade when they are only hand assembled and finished
Yes, you are totally right, there often lies a bit of confusion in some wording
@@user-zl2sc3bg3g dont get me wrong modern technology allows for some amazing ideas to come to fruition like multi axis tourbillons and so on, but as a watchmaker looking at the modern swiss industry mostly its just to be able to make more lower quality watches using less watchmakers and artisans. when you look at old patek extra quality from 1900 like this one ninanet.net/watches/others13/Mediums/mpatekpw.html and compare it to the modern patek quality there is just no comparison, the level of quality they had then was outstanding and it makes me sad as a watchmaker to see the decline in the industry quality overal
