Okay, so back story in World Beyond we found out Ep 1 that the CRM took out Omaha (population 90K) and its sister community Campus colony (10K) and blamed it on a "column" (herd). The CRM was manufacturing a poisonous gas (yellow in color) to mass murder the communities b/c Major General Beale had "done the math" and they had become a "drain on resources & a potential threat to the Hidden City/Civic Republic". Okafor clearly knew it was the CRM (military) that took out Omaha/Campus Colony and that was why he said "no more Omaha's". The WB kids along with the scientists from the "research facility " thier dad worked at kidnapped Maj Gen Beales son, blew up the research facility (after Jadis took over for a lady named Lt Kobleck...idk if we will see her in TOWL or not) and were headed across the country to Portland to warn them about what the CRM did and they were next. Hope that helps, I tried to make it as short as possible but this is info I assume will help goin forward 😊
By the way the camera zoomed in on the lady I’m sure y’all understand that the actress is Maze from Lucifer. She is amazing and great casting for the show
I don’t think you guys understand just how excited I was to see you guys upload this! I literally cried omg 😭Brought back all the nostalgia of running to UA-cam after an amazing TWD episode to watch your reactions. Danai, Andy, and Gimple have revived my INTENSE love of TWD with this series. Feels like I’m back in 2016!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHH
I'm so glad yall are watching this! When the episodes came out and there wasn't a reaction afterwards i was like" I know they aren't passing this up!"😂 this is the best walking dead spin off because Andy, Danai, and Gimple are working together and Andy and Danai had/have more creative control than in the original show.
Just know from Fear TWD, the CRM does show up and have their presence known throughout seasons 5-6 i believe. Also know that Texas was nuked in season 6, which is why in The Ones Who Live intro, u can see in the map that the CRM did mark Texas as a nuclear zone (u can also see a CRM helicopter roaming this nuclear zone at the beginning of Episode 1 of TOWL. When it comes to Morgan, just know he runs away to Texas after the Savior War against Negan, to where he meets the Fear TWD cast. Fast forward to season 8 (the last season of Fear) where there is a huge time skip that catches up to the main TWD show’s timeline. He has a daughter now named Mo. He puts Duane (his son) to rest from being a walker back in Atlanta. He finally gets a radio and sends a message to Rick Grimes stating if he is listening, he is gonna come look for him whether he is at Alexandria or not (unaware to him that Alexandria has expanded with the Commonwealth). He then leaves in the mid season finale of season 8. One more thing 😂 Dwight and Sherry (who were part of the Saviors) are also in this show. Fast forward to season 8, they decide to return back to the Sanctuary (previously Negan’s place) where they will build up the place for the greater good this time
It's actually been 8 years since they last seen each other. Remember on the main show Negan told the whisperers they had him locked up for 8 years and after they defeated them Judith told Michonne they won.
Let's goo!!!! I was worried you guys weren't doing this show lol. Can we still hope for a Dead City and/or Daryl Dixon reaction in the future? 6 episodes each is reasonable? 🤣 Edit: Dead City was good and the dynamic between Maggie/Negan + the reason they ended up having to do something together all made sense. Daryl Dixon was better, though. But both are worth reacting to.
remember that group is like their verison of crm in paris hinting that multiple places have armies, we dont know for sure if that group works with or against the crm but we know that they arent good just like the ppl who have rick. Also the variants connecting to twd and the spin offs. Def rewatch the show so it can refresh your memory, theres hints here n there that later they can connect it to rick@@hakone1841
I think that Rick and Michonnes best play is to attack the summit that will be happening. Okafor said that once they build the new crm task force location that Rick and Pearl spent that year constructing all major CRM leaders will attend the opening summit there. I think that’s their best option at a “clean escape” is to bomb that meeting. Plus most people miss it but in episode one in the park with Esteban the citizens of the CRM are beginning to protest with signs against the CRM restrictions that could be impactful too.
I thought Fear ended in a good way. Morgan and his daughter are on the way to find Rick. So i think he shows up somewhere in the crm. Only cause the crm were involved on Fear and they knew of his group after the nuclear bomb in texas. Also on the map they showed texas with a nuclear explosion symbol?
Everyone's excitement was so fantastic, but honestly, Suraj's was off the charts and brought me so much joy! I hate that they killed everyone that Michone found to friend, but I hate that they killed off Nat, especially. I really thought he'd be a regular character and I thought he'd bring a lot to the show. It was also great to see a little person, besides Peter Dinklage get a great, normal human role in a show.
They explain 31:09 The darkness of the CRM in the world beyond and FEAR too. Somehow way more than the main show. The world beyond is all about jadis and the CRM
If there's this much fucking confusion over Omaha then World Beyond is a much watch prior to this, it's only two seasons and literally explains EVERYTHING fucking related to what happened to Omaha, Jadis' goals and allegiance and even Variants to some extent.
Yes for real😅 I've already seen many reactors who only watch this show, but they've never seen World Beyond, and so they have all these questions/confusion about the CRM and Jadis
FINALLY!! I literally kept refreshing UA-cam to see you guys react. I’ve grown to love this channel and was so sad when I didn’t see it 😭😭 also RIP to Nat, he was a real one. Wish they kept him. Side note to Chris’s concern about the fuel, they did say they were using the walkers for resources and energy. Maybe they figured out how to use them for fuel 🤷🏾♀️ could be a stretch
Dang, Nat and Okafor were awesome characters for the short time they were present. Nat was a one-man wrecking machine with a level of genius that rivaled Eugene's and destruction that rivaled Carol. Okafor was a very complex character who at his core was a decent guy. I believe he would've helped Rick and Michonne had he lived.

Jadis is all in on the CRM. She was not working with Orkafor. She saved Rick to give her a way into the CRM and she labelled Rick a B to do him a favor. She saved his life.
If you watch the 2nd season of World Beyond, you learn more about the CRM, Pennsylvania, Omaha, and Portland. Rick's in Philadelphia. When Rick and Michonne find each other they are caught up with the timeline where TWD main show ended 14 years after the fall. So Rick's suicide attempt with the glass was 4 years prior. Omaha, Portland, and Philadelphia are the 3 cities the Civic Republic are in, but Omaha and Portland did not know about Philadelphia. That was kept a secret because that's where the CRM is based. The city where everyone lives is "hidden" in the middle of all of the ruined skyscrapers. People in Omaha were talked to other people and blabbed about where they were/who they are and that's why people in the CRM decided that Omaha needed to go. The 4 kids that left at the beginning of World Beyond left right before Omaha was bombed. The same kind of gas was used on them that was used on Michonne, Nat, and the others. Once the gas cleared, CRM soldiers went in and killed off the walkers they brought in to destroy the place and also the people who died. We've never seen Portland on any of the shows as it's Portland, Oregon, not Maine. In the opening credits, they show a map with the 3 CR cities and also the bombed zone in Texas from the 7th season of Fear the Walking Dead. There's also the post-credit scene in World Beyond that ties into Daryl's spinoff. Gimple said they're not all connected and that you don't need to watch everything to understand things, but you really do. Michonne's group was bombed because they were getting close to Philadelphia. That's also why Okafor said that if Rick escaped and got back home, he was going to have to kill him, Michonne, Judith, everyone in Alexandria, etc, because they would have known about Philadelphia and could have stormed the place.
Jadjs was working on getting inside the crm or the theory that she was already with them for a while and did something that pissed off the general so she was working to get back in through consignment the general sanctioned.
Great to see you’re watching this! Loved both eps. Nat was a fab character. I didn’t watch season 2 of world beyond but it sounds like it answered a lot so I must catch up. Regardless of if you react, I’d say Daryl Dixon is worth a watch. I really enjoyed it. It felt quite fresh being in a new country with new characters and gave Daryl more depth than in recent TWD seasons. Oh and Chris was right that it’s 7 years since the bridge by the reunion. After 5 years, rick joined the army and we heard he’d then been training for a year as a soldier. Then after that okafor said he’d help build that base which would take a year, so that takes us up to 7 (plus michonne started 6 years after bridge and then had a year recovering after the gas).
There was no way the 3 of them would be able to run from helicopters at the crash site. Bringing her in was the only way for both to survive. RIP Nat, this universe loves introducing interesting characters only to kill them off immediately
I heard that HEATH, (Missing Alexandrian black guy who went on mission to Oceanside with Tara) ended up being taken by CRM or by Jadis to them, and was taken as an A, becoming a undead test subject. I didn't watch world beyond but watched most important scenes about CRM + Jadis, from the shows i didn't watch.
I'm pretty sure he's a B but who knows hopefully we find out in this show. the writers of the walking dead universe really need to start explaining shit that's unanswered
This is what happened with Heath… They were originally going to have him be in this show, back when it was still going to be 3 movies. They were going to write in that Heath got taken by Jadis in 7x6 and then given to the CRM. But, Heath’s actor couldn’t come back to film the ones who live due to being the lead in 24 and his schedule, so it seems like they just scrapped it altogether.
@@michaelsaylor4903 Yeah, i definitely agree, he's a B no question. Also, heard since it's left unseen, Gimple could always bring him back in some capacity. So yeah, i also hope the writers keep doing well, in TWD:The Ones Who Live series.🤞🏽
@@MFBloosh Thanks for the heads up 👍🏽...Also yeah, i did hear that Jadis would have been the one to trade a freshly bitten, Heath to CRM, in the same video i watched. (UA-cam, TWD:World Beyond catch up/theory video about CRM & Jadis, incl Omaha genocide, & end credits scene in France, finally revealing the virus outbreak origins & those responsible etc.)
@MFBloosh Heath can still possibly show up in this show. I can't find any information rather hes in it or not. I'm pretty sure the show runners and actor would have came out and said if he's not in it
Chris being interested in the world expanding but not watching the spin offs is contradicting. Dead City showed walkers can be used as a source of energy and expands to other cities and communities. Daryl Dixon literally expands to another country. World Beyond introduced the CRM and how their society works, the bombing of Omaha, the chlorine gas, and Jadis was in there too. Watch these damn shows its not even long.
Regarding your questions about why they would want to make more walkers in the first episode there is a brief line that explains that they somehow use the walkers as a power source
I’ve got a feeling Jadis & Lance from commonwealth were placed where they were to draw in different types of people to recruit to CRM, Connie was going to be sent to CRM before they fixed things at the Commonwealth. I think Chris may be onto something with Okafor & Jadis being in cahoots!
Fear the Walking Dead is actually pretty good. I'd say Fear season 3 is up there with the best seasons of the original show. The first 3 seasons are one story arc that ends really strongly. The back few seasons kinda fall apart though. I'd recommend you watch at least those first 3 seasons.
If you notice until Rick saw Okafor was truly standing for soemthing like he did and wasnt just another soldier, he started to accept his reality and thought it would be best to join him. He even has his pinky blocking Okafors pistol from being able to shoot and was ready to take his head off with the hidden blade, he also knew if he killed Okafor it would just make his situation worse. This whole episode was dedicated to helping him burn down the old to grow something newer and better. I think the direction of the show is headed towards michonnes death.
I just thought about it. Somehow all of our TWD group is going to reconvene in Philly. Negan and Maggie, Daryl and Carol, and Rick and Michonne. Morgan might come and I think Dwight and Sherry will find their way to Alexandria. Morgan will communicate with Dwight and Sherry when they are at Alexandria and tell them that the team needs help up north. That's my overall, less detailed prediction.
@@JoshuaMartian-go3tmyeah they weren’t self reliant at all even though that was what they were supposed to do/be. The optics revealed they would’ve starved to death in a few years, so they made the call to make it quick.

Kinda unrelated to the actual episodes, but "reunited to fight some big Thanos level zombie threat" goes *wild* . I don't mind Endgame too much, but it did hella damage to how some "writers" think of the idea of building up to the climax of a story. Hopefully Gimple never gets to actually go through with this nonsense.
You guys really need to watch the world beyond to find out what happened to Omaha. I don’t want to spoil anything else though several things/characters here will be clearer if you’ve watched it
@TheNormies So I don’t know if you plan on watching The World Beyond but it explains what happened to Omaha. I can tell ya if you want to know or I’m sure you can find a recap video on UA-cam. But it is a huuuuuge story line for the CRM and the World Beyond. And I have a feeling it will be very important for this series considering it was mentioned or hinted at in some way 6-7 times in the first 2 episodes.
I agree with Marketa. Jadis/Anne knows too much about Rick and Michonne's true relationship. Jadis/Anne going to be trouble for them and she needs to go.
So the Omaha thing is explained more in the world's beyond the walking dead, I'm not gonna say anything incase they explain it later on in the ones who live, but if they don't, yall know where to look for answers
You should react or watch Daryl Dixon, def is worth the watch and another TWD character appears. Seems like it will connect to Rick as well eventually. Dead city feels like it’s own thing since it’s 5 years ahead of where Daryl and Rick shows are at right now so an easy skip.
All of that “Endgame” and “Thanos” talk are not quotes from Gimple. That corny comparison came from the press/interviewer, so don’t put that on him lol. I honestly love the idea and hope it happens!

Also, one of the books Okafor gave to Rick was the Art Of Peace. Sound familiar? It's the book Eastman gave to Morgan. Hope that means he shows up.
The fact that Michonne said her weapon of choice was a bo staff during her crm interview gives me hope that Morgan will show up eventually
When the episodes came out and there wasn't a reaction afterwards i was like" I know they aren't passing this up!"😂 this is the best walking dead spin off because Andy, Danai, and Gimple are working together and Andy and Danai had/have more creative control than in the original show.
so happy you guys are reacting cuz this is peak twd content
Edit: Dead City was good and the dynamic between Maggie/Negan + the reason they ended up having to do something together all made sense. Daryl Dixon was better, though. But both are worth reacting to.
daryl show is much better and i hope thats reacted first as daryl's show has info connecting to rick's show as well
Dead city is not good
Yeah people are sick of Maggie and Negan feud. Let it end for god's sake.
@@izzy3015 how? I forgot alot about what happened in the daryl show because i watched it as soon as it came out
remember that group is like their verison of crm in paris hinting that multiple places have armies, we dont know for sure if that group works with or against the crm but we know that they arent good just like the ppl who have rick.
Okafor's favorite actor is Ving Rhames. 🤣
Scott Gimple confirmed in the episode insider that they gassed Michonne's caravan because they were getting closer to the hidden city
Nat: Damn it, it was a dud!
Okafor: 💥
I thought Fear ended in a good way. Morgan and his daughter are on the way to find Rick. So i think he shows up somewhere in the crm. Only cause the crm were involved on Fear and they knew of his group after the nuclear bomb in texas. Also on the map they showed texas with a nuclear explosion symbol?
Morgan got a long lost daughter ?? (I didn’t watch the show)
@@javs2199 it's not really his daughter but he raised her after he found her tied to her mother, who sacrificed herself so she'd live.
So glad y’all are watching this! My friends gave up on The Walking Dead years ago so I don’t have any to discuss it with anymore 😩
They explain 31:09
The darkness of the CRM in the world beyond and FEAR too.
Somehow way more than the main show.
The world beyond is all about jadis and the CRM
All the main characters from TWB are from Omaha
I’ve waited forever BUT RICHONNE IS BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
If there's this much fucking confusion over Omaha then World Beyond is a much watch prior to this, it's only two seasons and literally explains EVERYTHING fucking related to what happened to Omaha, Jadis' goals and allegiance and even Variants to some extent.
Yes for real😅 I've already seen many reactors who only watch this show, but they've never seen World Beyond, and so they have all these questions/confusion about the CRM and Jadis
World Beyond honestly wasn't that bad either. S2 was much better though
In this show its a mystery. So let it be.
In daryl dixon the collected them for methane to cook with, heat water etc
Just imagine how close Nat and Michonne got stuck together for that year.
I'VE BEEN WAITING
YOU'RE MY TOP 3 FAVORITE REACTION PEOPLE EVER!!! ❤
Okafor had Mercer vibes.

There city is Philadelphia. They are in Camden when looking over to the city.
So glad ya'll are reacting to this, absolutely loved the first two episodes so far! Best TWD universe has looked in awhile!
Jadis is all in on the CRM. She was not working with Orkafor. She saved Rick to give her a way into the CRM and she labelled Rick a B to do him a favor. She saved his life.
you guys should watch The walking Dead: World Beyond to get more context behind the CRM. You get a lot more details about them there.
Rick was the only one on a leash btw
Chris is so confidently wrong all the time I swear. 😂 Glad you guys are back for TWD! If you aren't Suraj while watching this, are you even a fan???
Omaha was a World Beyond plot.
Was THE World Beyond plot lol.
@@JacksWorldYT Gonna be honest, never seen World beyond LOL
32:48 😂🤣 I know Rana was excited but damn why you have to use Chris’s head as a drum hahahaha
FIRST TWO EPISODES ARE INCREDIBLE!! Best TWD spinoff. Best TWD episodes in probably 10 years. I'm glad we got Ricks comic look with the hand.
The CRM city is Philadelphia. Pretty sure the military side where all the Bs work is in New Jersey
Jadjs was working on getting inside the crm or the theory that she was already with them for a while and did something that pissed off the general so she was working to get back in through consignment the general sanctioned.
Omaha was the city in the spin off world beyond. The CRM wiped them out.
RIP Nat, this universe loves introducing interesting characters only to kill them off immediately
so glad you all are reacting to this! Rick returns and holy hell does The Walking Dead feel like its got LIFE in it again!
Regarding your questions about why they would want to make more walkers in the first episode there is a brief line that explains that they somehow use the walkers as a power source
these episodes were brilliant!!
Finally I was waiting for you guys to do this show
OH MY FUVKING GOD YES WHAT A DAY
I’m sure suraj was the one pushing for this so I’m so happy

The CRM has more than 200,000 people living in a fortified area in Philadelphia 🙂🙂
10/10 show. Absolute fire!
Hell yes! Glad y’all are watching this. It’s so good.
32:21 see, that's why you always use a sling. One explosion and all three of them throw their rifles into the distance.
Fear the Walking Dead is actually pretty good. I'd say Fear season 3 is up there with the best seasons of the original show. The first 3 seasons are one story arc that ends really strongly. The back few seasons kinda fall apart though. I'd recommend you watch at least those first 3 seasons.
Yep! The rumors you heard about Dead City and the Darryl Dixon show was 100% accurate!
What were the rumors?
Lord the end game plan sounds like it could easily be a fck up 😂
Dead City was great imo. They play off of each other great because of the tension
TWD tradition, its always a kid that ruins everything😂😂
Rana wanting 33 days in February is adorable.
Flashback to TWD reactions in the lobby YEARS ago. Nostalgia
World Beyond explains Omaha and Jadis.
Found you guys from TWD season 6 reactions, very happy to see you’ll react to this spin off :)
Omaha was covered in World Beyond. They refused to work by the CRM's rules, so CRM erased them.
It was because of resources. They became too big & reliant on the Civic Republic.
@@JoshuaMartian-go3tmyeah they weren’t self reliant at all even though that was what they were supposed to do/be.
The optics revealed they would’ve starved to death in a few years, so they made the call to make it quick.
@@JoshuaMartian-go3tm I watched the World Beyond and I could’ve sworn it was kind of a combination of both.
@@yjdaniel8237 I remember someone making a speech to the kids about resources. Either Jadis or Kublek. Then I remember Jadis getting Kublek arrested cuz I think she, like Okafor started to change sides maybe?
@@yjdaniel8237 I think what yall are thinking of is Iris making that speech right? They had planned the attack already tho, they wanted their father to do the research but he wouldn't unless his girls were saved I think.
I'm just so excited to have Michonne once again on my TV
btw not TWD related but you guys should put amc's new Interview With the Vampire show on your list for the future, good stuff!
Yes!!! I absolutely loved the new AMC show Interview With The Vampire would love to see some of these big reaction channels like The Normies and Blind Wave react to it👍I've been asking
YESSSS!!! This show is the ULTIMATE! 🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction :D
Rick is definitely not going to calm down lol
he was mad at Okafor!! He was a prisoner for years, not allowed to live his life the way he wanted to! Of course he is going to be angry. He wants his family, his life! I feel for him! Andy is such a wonderful actor!!!❤
YES!!!! I was hoping that the Normies would react to this! No cap, I feel the same way I did when I first started watching TWD! Looking forward to each Sunday!! Loving our Richonne reunion!! ❤❤❤
I don’t want to spoil anything else though several things/characters here will be clearer if you’ve watched it
I was so glad to see you guys reacting to this 😊 Feels like the walking dead is back. Looking forward to the rest of the season 🩷
I will never forgive the death of Nat 💔💔💔
Let’s go! I’ve been waiting a week for the reaction to start!
This is the reaction i was waiting for! You guys took so long Lol but thank you👍🏻👍🏻
Where's episode three's review?
I saw Nat on some random UA-cam video where someone was drawing random people on the street in New York and he mentioned he was gonna be in this show and I totally forgot until I saw this
The Irony of yall talking about the black characters always getting killed off 😂
You see what happened in Omaha in The World Beyond
DOUBLE UPLOAD? I TAKE IT BACK I APPRECIATE YALL FINALLY GETTING TO IT!!!
The current time line is over 7 years. 6 years after the bridge and one year in the mall recovering from chlorine gas. I thought Portland got taken out in The World Beyond.
