YOURS is the ONLY way that I have seen on UA-cam that made this much easier! I saw one where the woman made this card so hard with how to measure for the outside and inside I just moved on! She is using the words "easy peasy" and it was nothing like that! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
God bless you for remembering senior citizens, especially those who live alone! For many years, I was a Home Health/Hospice RN and made home visits as ordered by physicians. In order for us to provide service, the client was home bound and only left the house to go to doctor. The senior citizens were ESPECIALLY glad to see us, and wanted us to hang around and offered us coffee/refreshments or feed us a meal. We were the only visitors they had and even if we were there to do a treatment/procedure that was not pleasant or even painful, we made their day in a good way. Now it is me that is that senior citizen widow who lives alone and never receives visitors, but I send cards and letters to people and you have inspired me to start making those cards to send out. THANKS for inspiring me-- I can't thank YOU enough!
Wow! I’ve always thought that fun fold was cute, but passed it by because it looked too time consuming! What a great tip to cut the DSP! Thanks for sharing! I can see using up some of my overabundance of DSP making these.
Jackie, Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just made this card, and it came out perfectly with your cutting technique. You made something that looks so difficult easy peesy.
So cute! I also love that you still get 2 cards from one sheet of cardstock. My hubby and I are coming up to Michigan at the end of this month to visit family in Holly. Looking forward to it! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your video Jackie, gotta love an easy fun fold card. Unfortunately I ran into issues when trying to make your card, I assumed my cardstock was 8 1/2 x 11 inches but my Stampin' Up cardstock is an A4 measurement (I live in Australia) which is 8.27 x 11.7 inches. No trouble to trim the longer end but I don't have enough length on the short side. Any suggestions for altering measurements appreciated 😊😊
Yikes, I am not really sure as I only use US measurements based on 8 1/2" x 11". Play around with some scrap paper and I am sure you can figure something out similar.
Thank you SO much for this video! I had fun making cards using this technique on my recent trip to the mountains, and will be making more very soon. Love the simplicity of it and the many ways you can decorate it. Love your channel!
There are so many different ways you can use scraps! Here are some videos you could watch and hopefully get ideas from... ua-cam.com/video/umG9SMBqZGI/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/UJplBNgodlE/v-deo.html

If you don’t cut evenly for the DSP, you can just barely trim it on the trimmer after cutting!
