I love that high-performance lizard... I sail the oceans. My last stint in Haulover was with a 38' Hunter.
Too be fair, that was a pretty calm day compared to how bad it can be.

Just curious what is your local speed limits through that inlet...? Because you guys friggin fly through there like no tomorrow. I guess you can get away with that down in Florida but not here up North. You'd be ticketed REAL quick. Maybe your cops are far more lax down there.

@@wadehenninger5250 As if the 400R and 500R outboards never have any issues? You realize the R outboards require the SAME level of maintenance as the 1100 and 1300 HP IO units...right?????
@darknes7800 Fuel efficiency and total cost of ownership make the outboard more practical. Also for sandbar and island hoping outboard make more sense
@@wadehenninger5250 I will stick with IO units, instead of warts hanging off the back of the boat. Nothing beats the sound of TWIN big cam SC V8 engines with 1350 HP each. Besides it takes 2 outboards to equal ONE IO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
