The cost of solar now days is really cheaper than lead acids headaches. For 2500 bucks 7.68kwh 24v system. Very cheap anymore. Two power queen batteries 1500 Bucks. All in one sungold charge controller 600 bucks. 1020 watts of panels 200bucks. 200 bucks for fuses and wire.

A lead acid battery fully charged is 13.2 volts. 2.2 volts on 6 cells. Not 12.7
