I completely agree with you, but the thing that makes a character or certain group better than another is that they'll have more tools and options than others. For simplicity we'll use Vegeta. His dp gives him an additional option on wake-up and also if he's negative. Normally if someone vanishes you have a few safe (and a few unsafe) options. Reflect, back dash(on certain characters), or block. His dp gives him another option which can turn the tide of battle and possibly kill a character if it hits. Also his assist is super easy to combo. That's pretty much it. Hope this helps understanding why the dumbass tier list exist.

Suddenly, i was taking some rounds. I had actually tied it up and was poised to take the fifth and final win, but my opponent rage quit. He never said anything throughout, but I knew. This video reminded me of that moment. I don't know why.

This is becoming more of a problem in multiplayer games. People really feel the need to validate themselves and constantly tell you how to play the game. I can say with certainty that most people play to better themselves, play with friends, or you know...have fun. And the fact, this stranger met UB732 once. And even UB732 didn't remember him, this stranger tries to be cool at first. But the moment he starts losing to someone he doesn't like, he acts like UB732 just kicked a puppy! People just need to take it easy, if you're competitive that's fine. In fact, it's good to compete just don't be toxic about it. Good video again, Urbanboy732.

There are multiple factors that can contribute to this mindset. If I had to choose one to focus on, its that if you poured so much time into learning a game and sometimes that leads into people feeling like they know more and act like something doesn't surprise or annoy them. If I use myself as an example, I'll admit I've played smash for every game. Only since the past year have I tried taking 1v1 more seriously cause I want to eventually get into competitive. It really does get frustrating sometimes, and if someone has been playing a competitive game for even longer, the feeling can get worse if you don't have people to work off. You don't have feedback and thus you lead yourself to think you know more than professionals. Essentially living in there own bubble of what they think is "fair" and what is "cheap." Cause like you said they have to feel like they need to validate the years of time to put into learning something and get easily tilted when something pushes their buttons. Although this is mostly speculation cause I don't know what goes on behind the scenes with this dude in the video.
I think it comes from the fact we are creating a society that can't take a punch, in any way so every one grows to bottle up such emotions and it becomes insanely toxic because therapy costs WAY more money then it should aka its fucking talking to people it should be as free as breathing

High tiers do matter because they are evaluated on damage, pressure, difficulty to use as etc. He used Cell who is high tier while Urban used Hit who is mid (he's very difficult to use compared to the others)
