I was a stay at home Mom of 2 boys. They're all grown up now and married. I've been blessed with a beautiful granddaughter and have been lucky to be a stay at home grandma with her while her parents work. What a blessing!!!!!
Same…stay at home mom of 2 daughters and 1 son and now a stay at home Nana. 2 are in school now but with summer, I usually have my 3 granddaughters here. Getting a little hard now after 7 years of babysitting. But I love them so much ❤❤❤.
That’s how Asian families do it. The parents work while the grandparents raise their grandkids. I think that’s awesome and such a blessing to have a purpose after you’re retired. Not to mention the grandkids will benefit from it, wish more Americans would implement this ❤

I used to be the exact same, i loved summer! It didn't matter to me how hot it was , as long as it was 85° or hotter! Loved laying in the sun by the ocean sun up til sun down, yard work, all the things! Girl not any more! I can't take it now if his anything over 85°! Things change drastically the ogre you get! Of course my favorite post party of living in Tennessee was the scenery, the gorgeous mountains. Then it was the weather, having a four seasons. Fall is my favorite & the mountains are stunning in Fall with all the rolling hills painted in orange, red & yellow!🍂 The winters can be pretty tough with single digits or below 0° but the mountains covered in white Is gorgeous too! Sitting by the fire & watching the snow fall is so peaceful😊 I absolutely LOVE & with always love Tennessee!But... we're in the process of moving to Florida, just outside Tampa. I won't lie, i HATE the temps here!🥵 Its miserably hot most of the year. Right now you melt if you walk out the door🫠 Its Unusually hot everywhere right now i think, but its only going to get worse here.. July-early September is the hottest time of year! But God has called us to a different season in life & we have to follow, trust & obey! I was lucky enough to not have to work while i was pregnant & not go back until they were around a year old. The oldest, my daughter started in beauty pageants at 3, dance & cheer at 5, gymnastics at 10. We stopped Pageants at 8, it got to competitive, not fun anymore. She danced for 7yrs & cheered on thru school. My son played basketball, baseball, travel baseball, football & soccer. Basketball only lasted four years, and the rest thru school.They were 13.5yrs apart thankfully😄 By the time he started, she was thru. But between practices & recitals, traveling for pageants, games...i was super busy, plus i was back at work part time.🤪 If I'd had lots of kids they would have had to choose just one! And that would be ok too. They were both good at the things they did & enjoyed it. So as long as they wanted to do those things & we could afford it, we supported them. Honestly I miss it all!🥹 They're both parents themselves now, so now I'm just enjoying the grandbabies😊 We're actually staying with our son, DIL &10mth old right now. My daughters 3 & almost 5yr old have been with us for several weeks, they go home tomorrow.. girl I'm REST tomorrow!! Lol I'm worn out!😩 My son traveled the states & abroad for a little over 3yrs singing with a ministry, he went to NY several times. I've sky's wanted to go at Christmas, bucket list! He & his wife leaf lead praise & worship at her dads church now, but i honestly think one day they'll be somewhere else. He's been offered several positions in several states, she don't want to leave Tampa 🤷♀️ As She gets older maybe that'll change. So glad you hit your highlights! Excited tho see what you'll be making, love seeing you sew😊 Baby girl Is getting big! I’m in TN and love our seasons. Although these temps in the upper 90’s and high humidity aren’t very fun
@@lynnwarren6127 yeah it can get steamy for sure! But honestly when you walk outside down here the heat is just so heavy it almost feels like it'll take your breath😩 What part of TN are you in? I miss it, i truly love it there.. my favorite place to be🥹

Glad you enjoyed your time here in NYC. The garment center is wonderful and definitely can be overwhelming deciding what to buy. There's also an art store called Blick in the Village that has everything you need to be artistically creative. I have a bit of a pen and marker obsession. I also prefer summer over winter, but it always seems to fly by, while winter in Jan- March seems to go on forever. I shouldn't complain since the last 3 winter's were mild in terms of snow here in the city. I'd love to see your garden when everything grows. I do not have a green thumb at all. LOL
