    Appreciate you reuploading this Doug. I remember seeing this video year's ago, and marvelled at the flowing adaptive movements used with such terrible precision so effortlessly by this honourable gentleman. What good fortune to those who live in his neighbourhood and have his training available to them. Not enough good things can be said about this amazing art (fma), a true treat for it's practioner. Kind regards. Ireland.

    if you mean the Largo and corto seminar in Saratoga then yes, sorry not sure what you meant with Abaniko kon General but why defeat us? I am not your enemy - Take my hand in friendship : )

    I can accept the friendship but defeating you would be hard! More I guess Its Impossible! your techniques are good! I am a practitioner of Lubulikapasa infamously known as mongoose in our locale. its been almost ten years now since I stopped dancing the art. I got a friend who taught me the art of "ABANIKO KON GENERAL" its another form of arnis. Some of the arnis techniques that were known to me are as follows: Ridonada, doblete, Daga-daga (from espada y daga), sinawali, and repelon.

    I still don't let the idea of wanting to defeat those that are not enemies. Di naman tayo magkatalo . But if you mean in terms of skill level then it's a matter of training and practice. I am not familiar with Abaniko Kon General but sounds cool to me. The terms are indeed familiar to me .

      But sir, why GT Leo T Gaje jr spoke against the use of Karambit? You are great in using this

    • @DougMarcaida
      @DougMarcaida  3 роки тому +2

      @@attrayomandal2498 it doesn't matter what is in your hands. Its what you do with it. Karambit is a curved knife. Leo Gaje taught me the knife. So in many ways you can say he taught me the karambit.

      @@DougMarcaida oh! Sir you are great. I never thought you would reply. Thanks for your reply sir. I'm from India sir. Here we don't have Kali or FMA teachers in eastern part of the country. We only have two authentic PTK teachers but none of them teach in eastern India. I'm really interested in learning this art. I trained in shotokan karate for 3 years. Very recently an FMA system is launched here in Bengal a district of Eastern India. This is known as Kalahi System of FMA. Two instructors did residential course under Grand master Allan Fami and launched there system here. Allan Fami also visited Kolkata. Sir, I follow all your videos and specially the Karambit ones. But I have no scope of learning from people like you. Once grand master Andy Elliot of Kombatan Arnis of Guro Ernesto Presas visited India. That too central India. Sir, can you please tell me wheather to take up Kalahi system of FMA. I've no idea about this system. I've no idea about GM Allan Fami too. Videos of PTK, your system ie Marcaida Kali, kali Illustrsimo, Balintawak, Kombatan are available but I never saw or heard of this system. With due respect sir, me and my friends never heard of GM Allan Fami. Will you guide me sir? Should I take up this system of FMA?
