I never hear you say anything about your time. With time and items I think your prices are solid. No to mention the fillers you use all that cost money. Your prices are very very reasonable.
I honestly don’t add my time into it but you are definitely supposed to. I was basically adding an extra $10-$15 to everything just for a hourly rate of me designing it, having to run around and get it. But then I saw that my prices came out too high and they weren’t selling so, I changed it. When i do my rounding off it helps with all the other things that I include which is cents on a dollar when you divide it between how many baskets you are able to do with that one item.

Your baskets are beautiful. And your process is on point!! Selling a bit lower price with more volume (selling more baskets than others) is a great strategy! Keep your strategy and never conform to cheapy customers demands they can wheel and deal at the swapmeet lol !..You and other creators are making baskets that are unique and cannot be bought at Wal-Mart or target or other stores. Sell , sell by volume is the way to go!!

I think the price depends on your area. Both gold cake plates look good. I am happy to price my baskets at double. If it costs me $15 on products, I will charge $30. That's just me. If I get a really good deal on products I would price at value. If you like to bargin with your buyers, you can place high and come down. I also calculate materials such as paper, ribbon, and plastic wrap in the cost. Don't forget, there are people who can't afford a $50 basket. So, you need to have low price baskets too , for buyers to have a choice.
Yesssss Mama Chicken thats right💕💕💖 Thats why im always rounding off to incorporate the other lil things that go into it. I have to get atleast 2.5 -3.5 times so if you put in $15 charging $50 gets you 3.5 times that amount value. Double is not worth it to me atleast 3 times. What state are you?💕💖
@@yummytscakestreatscrafts3650 I'm in Pittsburgh, PA. I think that I undercharge but I'm satisfied. Just starting out. You've been in business for a long time. I like your idea of having prices out there so people can see and know what you're charging. Buyers don't want to guess.
@@mamachicken1548 What I did last year was had a higher price on like 2 of my baskets just to see if they would sale and babbbbbae they dis. With no problem. Try that on 2 of your gifts to see if you are under pricing. So this year I was like do better , i went up $15 more than what i was last year. I was doing $35 now im $50 the ones i was doing $60 im doing $75. And yes, I’m one of those buyers that dont wanna guess, even though most people not like me, i just think about if people are like me, then they definitely wanna see the price first

I've never thought to stack my table as storage for baskets that's a good idea!!! I don't know where you're located but .99 cents only stores have cake boards also very reasonable.

Your baskets are so beautiful. Try the thrift stores for platters. After Christmas is when I find all colors in a bundle. It's because people over buy for the Holidays and end up donating what they don't need to get that last minute tax write off.

I had a question when selling should I give a receipt to customers or just keep a notebook of my sales?
I don’t give out a receipt, I give them a business card and i also have a business card on the basket for whoever gets it. But I am going to keep track of each basket i sale. Make sure you right down everyone that sold. I have mines on a paper. Pink basket with purple robe $75 put in $15 (something like that) so i know my profit and loss.
Lady T. I lived in ga for 15 years. I use to sale across the street from the west end Marta train station. I sold out every year nothing left. I love your creativity. The only thing that I question is instead of putting the dove in the small purse set how about a pretty rose in it because it already has creams and still charge 35.00 real pretty.

I will see something no price but really like it but say that to about it may be more than what i want to pay and i don't like having to ask how much something is. makes me lose interest quick. So. it's very good to have that price so the customers can see them. that's my way though.

Prices can be a bit lower if selling by volume (selling more baskets by number than others) the area may not carry customers who will pay the extra $15 or $20 per basket. I say her selling by volume is a good strategy.

For that basket u asked about u counted at least $51.75 retail value for items in basket so that's only $25 profit for your time & work making it. We know how much we paid but the customers don't. They see pink & think expensive. $75 -$80 would be gud.

I got a wholesale place here in Georgia. They do not have a website it’s walk in only and you have to have a sales tax ID, GHANDi hookah wholesale.

You can leave the tiny sticker hearts off your baskets. To me it makes your baskets look cheap and immature. It looks so nice without the little hearts. Try the bigger hearts from dollar tree. ❤. You have enough items in your baskets plus your ribbon that makes it look Valentiney as you say. This is all with love. Your baskets are beautiful just don't cheapen them!

How you make your items sit higher than the open of the basket?
Try using clean new newspaper or plastic bags bunch of it or a smaller box than the basket with tissue or newspaper.
Definitely what Dolores said and also fill it as high as possible then add tissue paper and then shredded paper. I actually just touched on your question in my recent video.
