Barney Barnwell & Woodstick Booking Demo, 1990's

My buddy Barney Barnwell was a true one of a kind, a singular talent who was a born entertainer, a great fiddler, a hard working man of the land, a visual artist and wood carver and a man who loved all his animals, from snakes to possums. He held two annual festivals on his property in Fingerville, SC- The Woodstick Festival and the Moonshiners Reunion. (Yes, Barney used to be s moonshiner, as did his father) He was playing tons of college fraternity parties each year and was dearly loved. The band at the time consisted of two guys who played with him in his previous group The Plum Hollow Band, Larry and Mike Baucom, along with Mickie Wofford on bass and Allen Heavrin on lead guitar. Barney is truly missed.
